We have no idea when it’ll happen, but Sony will soon unveil the PlayStation 5 in all its glory. And when that launch event takes place and we finally learn everything there is to know about the PS5 and its unique features, then Microsoft will counter with its own Xbox Series X reveal. Or we could be in for a significant surprise, and Microsoft could be the first company to give gamers actual specifics beyond the generalities both companies offered bout their next-gen products. We have no way of knowing, as neither company has announced any official press event at this time. But Microsoft does have “bold” moves planned in its effort to steal you away from the PS5.

Awards season ended with a bang on Sunday night as Parasite and its director Bong Joon-ho walked away with four Oscars, including the first-ever Best Picture win for a foreign language film. It was an exciting night for the industry as a whole, but the story of the Korean phenomenon is actually just getting started, as Bong Joon-ho and Adam McKay are teaming up to bring a six-episode Parasite limited series to HBO.

Director Bong told TheWrap last month that the series will be “a six-hour-long film” that tells some of the stories that he wasn’t able to include in the two-hour runtime of the original film, such as why the housekeeper has bruises on her face when she returns to the house midway through the film, or what her relationship was with the architect. And now, weeks later, we may know who will star in the show as well, and it’s something of a surprise.

NASA’s Mars 2020 mission is definitely going to be one for the record books. The rover being sent to the Red Planet is capable of tasks that no other machine on Mars can perform, and that means many years of exciting discoveries lie ahead.

However, one of the most exciting things that the Mars 2020 rover will be doing during its mission won’t actually bear fruit, so to speak, until much later. The rover will be collecting samples of the martian soil that NASA will eventually bring back to Earth to study in person, and that’s going to be truly incredible.

If you’re a gamer, 2020 is the year you’ve been waiting for. There’s no question that the Nintendo Switch spiced up the current console generation when it debuted in 2017, but Nintendo’s nifty convertible gaming device isn’t exactly a high-powered beast geared toward serious gamers.
