It’s now been over a month since an amateur astronomer spotted what is now believed to be the second interstellar object ever observed by mankind. The gassy chunk of space debris is thought to be a comet, and it’s been named 2I/Borisov in honor of its discoverer, Gennady Borisov.

Now, with the comet getting so much attention in the astronomy world, NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope is finally getting in on the action. On October 12th, Hubble targeted the comet and scientists were able to snap several images of it, providing us with our best look yet.

T-Mobile and Sprint just got one step closer to merging, after the Federal Communications Commission voted to approve the deal on a party-line vote, with Democrats on the commission voting against the move.

The same day that Democratic FCC commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel wrote in an op-ed for The Atlantic on Wednesday that the merger would be a net negative for consumers and drive up prices, an FCC official confirmed to The Verge that the merger was approved.

Google earlier this week released an impressive Google Maps feature I said I hope I’ll never need to use: Improved voice-guided navigation for blind and visually impaired people. A few days later, Google released another accessibility feature that I hope I’ll never be forced to use. Just like the Google Maps feature, this one isn’t only targeting people with disabilities, and might actually come in handy in a bunch of different scenarios.

Apple rolls out iOS 13.2 public beta 3

%name Apple rolls out iOS 13.2 public beta 3 by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Just over a day after Apple seeded iOS 13.1.3 and iPadOS 13.1.3 to everyone who isn’t part of Apple’s beta program, the beta crowd has received an update of its own. The third beta releases for both iOS 13.2 and iPadOS 13.2 rolled out on Wednesday, and as of right now, the public beta is available to everyone as well.

The headlining feature of iOS 13.2 is, of course, the Deep Fusion camera technology that makes medium-light photos look sharper than ever before, but you can also get your hands on a selection of new emojis if you download the new beta. That said, there are also plenty of bug fixes, and that’s really the priority here.

This stunning new retro portable can play every Game Boy game ever made

%name This stunning new retro portable can play every Game Boy game ever made by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

I’ve been a huge fan of video games my entire life, but I’m not sure I ever spent more time with a single device than I spent with my Game Boy Advance in the early 2000s. Not only were there countless classic titles released exclusively for the GBA, from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire to The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap to Advance Wars to Metroid Fusion, but it was also home to some incredible re-releases, including all the best 2D Mario games.

Thanks to emulators, I’ve had a chance to go back and replay some of my favorites and discover several great titles I missed the first time around, but nothing compares to actually holding a Game Boy in your hands and playing games the way they were meant to be played. And that’s why I desperately need the Analogue Pocket.

With the Made by Google event behind us and the Pixel 4 announced, every major phone of 2019 has officially been revealed (barring any last-second surprises). But leaks and rumors about upcoming devices continue to spread, and recently, one intriguing, unannounced smartphone from Samsung has been making headlines.

No, I’m not talking about the Galaxy S11 (although it has been the subject of its fair share of leaks), but rather the Galaxy S10 Lite, which has appeared repeatedly in reports over the past few weeks. As the name suggests, the Lite model will be less expensive and less capable than its standard counterpart, but will give consumers yet another way into the company’s flagship brand. And on Wednesday, we learned even more about the phone.
