Google is getting better at making sure you book the cheapest possible flight

%name Google is getting better at making sure you book the cheapest possible flight by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

For the past few years, I have been almost exclusively using Google’s online travel tools to book flights. It’s often the most convenient way to sort through dozens of flight options at once, and the interface is decidedly more manageable than what most competitors have to offer. That said, it does lack some features that other sites provide, but this week, the platform came one step closer to being the ultimate online travel companion.

Google has been updating its travel tools rather frequently in recent years, highlighted by the launch of a travel portal in May which unified all of the features and menus into a single webpage. But that was just the beginning, as the new features arriving this week seem built to convince users never to book travel anywhere else.

3.5 Galaxy Note 10 features I’m jealous of, as an iPhone user

%name 3.5 Galaxy Note 10 features I’m jealous of, as an iPhone user by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

The Galaxy Note 10 series is finally official, and all the leaks that preceded Samsung’s press conference turned out to be true. Samsung launched two worthy successors of the Note 9 (but also the Galaxy S10) that pack quite a few exciting new features. In many ways, however, the Note 10 is a lot like other high-end Android phones, especially when it comes to the overall design, the main specs, and the cameras. But as an iPhone user who is unlikely to leave the iOS-macOS ecosystem anytime soon, I’m absolutely jealous of 3.5 Note 10 features that I can’t have on the iPhone for the time being. That’s three-and-a-half, not a jab at the fact that Samsung ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack on the Note 10 after slamming Apple for doing the same thing years ago. Okay, fine, it’s both.

%name The $300 Beats Solo3 wireless headphones are back down to $180 on Amazon by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

When the Beats by Dr. Dre brand first launched and for many years thereafter, Beats was all about style over substance. NASA’s Curiosity rover stumbled upon a Martian rock that tells an incredible story

%name NASA’s Curiosity rover stumbled upon a Martian rock that tells an incredible story by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We tend to think of rocks as being, well, pretty boring. We find them pretty much everywhere here on Earth, and while some are neat to look at we don’t often spend the time to consider the stories they can tell. For the scientists working with NASA’s Curiosity rover, however, rocks are like windows into the past of a planet we still know relatively little about.

The Curiosity rover is currently exploring an area within the Gale Crater called the “clay-bearing unit.” NASA highlighted a panorama snapped from this location as the agency celebrated the robot’s 7th year on the Red Planet, but one rock in particular is worthy of additional attention. It’s been nicknamed “Strathdon” and it’s telling researchers a lot about what Mars was like when it was a whole lot wetter.

Apple has also reverted several of the changes that were made in previous betas, and you will see a few splash screens on familiar apps walking you through any of the updates that have affected them in iOS 13 or iPadOS 13.

The plot hole that ruined ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ can easily be fixed

%name The plot hole that ruined ‘Spider Man: Far From Home’ can easily be fixed by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We learned recently that Spider-Man: Far From Home writers weren’t given access to the Avengers: Endgame script and I explained how that ruins the entire movie. That’s because Far From Home is part of something much bigger. It’s not a standalone movie, it’s part of a franchise, and that’s why what I said before really matters. It’s part of the MCU’s bigger narrative, so Sony and Marvel have to do better when it comes to managing their shared Spider-Man property. In what follows, I’ll address the huge Spider-Man 2 plot hole that ruins the movie because of how it relates to Endgame, but I’ll also explain how this continuity issue can be fixed.

10 cases to protect your new Galaxy Note 10 or Note 10+

%name 10 cases to protect your new Galaxy Note 10 or Note 10+ by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are finally official, and they are awesome. They’re also insanely expensive, with prices starting at $950 and climbing to more than $1,300. These phones are good enough that they warrant the expense since they’re powerful enough that they can easily last for years. Of course, there’s no way your phone is going to last for years if you smash it.

You’re just plain crazy if you plan to buy a new Galaxy Note 10 series phone and not use a protective case. The glass front and back are very fragile, and adding curved edges makes them even more expensive to replace. Lucky for you, we dug through dozens upon dozens of protective cases to find the best options out there right now. The Galaxy Note 10 cases listed below start at just $8 and the Galaxy Note 10+ cases start at $9.99, so you have absolutely no excuse to leave your phone unprotected. Check them all out below.
