Leaked press renders give us our first look at the upcoming Fitbit Versa 2

%name Leaked press renders give us our first look at the upcoming Fitbit Versa 2 by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Not many smartwatches have held a candle to the Apple Watch in terms of sales or notoriety since its debut in 2015. That hasn’t stopped countless vendors from attempting to compete with the behemoth that is Apple, but few have had any real success. One of those few is Fitbit, which finally returned to profit late last year with the launch of the Versa smartwatch. Fitbit even managed to climb into the #2 spot in the US smartwatch category.

That success was short-lived, as Fitbit reported a 27% year-over-year decline in revenue for its most recent quarter. It turns out that no one wanted the Versa Lite, which lacked many of the Versa’s most important features while retailing for just $40 less than the $199 Versa. But Fitbit isn’t down for the count quite yet.

Solar sails actually work, and LightSail 2 just proved it

%name Solar sails actually work, and LightSail 2 just proved it by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

The idea seems totally crazy: A spacecraft with no active propulsion system that can travel through space using light in the same way that a sailboat uses wind. Physics tells us it’s possible, but until scientists could prove it, it remained a good idea on paper only.

Now, with the launch of the crowdfunded LightSail 2, we can finally see the innovative theory put into practice. In a news release from the Planetary Society, researchers declare the LightSail 2 a success, with measurements showing that the spacecraft has indeed begun to travel away from the Earth after unfurling its solar sail.

As he took the stage last week at Comic-Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed what everyone had known was coming, it was just a matter of time — that Avengers: Endgame had finally dethroned James Cameron’s space adventure Avatar as the highest-grossing movie of all time.

Since its initial release, Marvel also brought back the movie for a limited run in theaters with some extra material, in addition to it now being available to own digitally.

The first meals eaten on the Moon were truly bizzare

%name The first meals eaten on the Moon were truly bizzare by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

When you’re an astronaut, food options are somewhat limited during missions into space. You can’t exactly order in, and meals have to be preserved and then reconstituted when you’re finally ready to eat them. Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin knew that all too well, and their historic mission to the Moon included some equally historic meals that were downright strange.

The duo enjoyed at least two meals during their brief stay on the lunar surface, the first coming before the astronauts left the safety of the lunar module to explore the surface. That meal, which was technically the first meal enjoyed by humans on the Moon, sounds a bit like something a hungry college student might eat when funds are running low.

At this point, there’s virtually nothing left to leak in regards to the Galaxy Note 10 line that Samsung plans to officially unveil next week at its next Unpacked event. We’ve seen just about everything over the past few months, from feature reveals to lists of specifications to design details to photos of the device out in the wild.

All we really need to see now is the phone itself in action in a high-definition video, and while we don’t have that quite yet, Mobile Fun delivered the next best thing on Thursday with a hands-on video of two purported dummy phones that seemingly showcase the final designs of both the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+.
