Apple might be trying to remove Samsung from its iPhone and iPad supply line, but a new report from Korea-based inews24 quoted by Digitimes seems to further suggest that the company still needs plenty of components from the South Korean giant, including displays for the future iPad models.

The instant sell-outs and rapidly lengthening delivery estimates of the iPhone 6 Plus have led many observers to believe that the most jumbo version of iPhone is capturing a big chunk of the new iPhone sales in North America. But new statistics from Chitika indicate that people may have been jumping the gun because it’s possible that the low early production volumes of iPhone 6 Plus are the reason for its relative scarcity compared to the smaller iPhone 6.

Microsoft had plenty to talk about during the Windows 10 reveal event on Tuesday, from the operating system’s improved multitasking capability to the extensive preview program, but we all know that there was only one thing Windows users actually wanted to see: the Start menu. Apple is understandably tired of talking about bent iPhone 6 Plus models but at the same time it seems that the company might be overreacting a tad if it’s really threatening publications over their coverage of the controversy. German computer magazine ComputerBilt.de claims that Apple has cut it off from both receiving testing devices and from being invited to future Apple launch events after it posted a video that showed how the iPhone 6 Plus could be bent with your bare hands.

Don’t mind the gap, says Samsung. Earlier this week we started hearing reports out of Korea that some Galaxy Note 4 owners were annoyed by a gap that they found between the Note 4’s frame and its display that was apparently wide enough to fit two pieces of A4 paper inside. Now, however, AndroidCentral has discovered that this isn’t a design bug… it’s a feature.

The new Galaxy Note Edge is coming out soon — although Samsung hasn’t said when — and the first thing you probably noticed about it is that weird curved screen. What purpose does it serve other than to look like that part of the yearbook that no one can sign?
