In this particular case that “someone” is Apple, as The New York Times reports that Tim Cook and company are paying roughly $100 million in royalty fees and marketing expenses as part of a deal to give U2’s newest album away for free.

After months of silence, Rockstar has finally reemerged with releases dates for the remastered edition of Grand Theft Auto V. As revealed in a previous leak, GTA V for PS4 and Xbox One will be available on November 18th, 2014, but the PC release has slipped to January 27th, 2015. Rockstar has also outlined some of the visual and technical enhancements that the new versions of the game will feature.

T-Mobile made a splash earlier this week when CEO John Legere revealed that the “Un-carrier” would be the first U.S. carrier to support WiFi Calling and texting on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. WiFi Calling support for iOS 8 was one of the biggest surprises during Apple’s media event on Tuesday, but other than the T-Mobile partnership, we didn’t hear much more about the potentially exciting new feature.
