The iPhone Air – which is what some people believe the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 model will be called – has appeared in a new series of images provided by French publication Nowhereelse, a steady source for iPhone 6 leaks. The new photos reveal one key detail about the upcoming handset that certain buyers may care about above all else when making a buying decision: the phone’s size.

Motorola is set to announce a handful of new products later this week during a media gathering that BGR will be attending, but it looks like the star of the show has made an early appearance. TK Tech News on Monday posted photos it claims show the upcoming Motorola Moto X+1, and the images appear to be authentic.

A whole bunch of Galaxy Note 4 leaks were been reported over this past weekend, as various stories further detailed the upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung. The most interesting rumor comes from TKTechNews, which apparently learned from a source that the Galaxy Note 4 could be available in stores as soon as September 6th in the U.S., or even before the iPhone 6 (its main rival) gets official.

We hope you weren’t getting your hopes up too much that Apple was going to just give you a cool new reversible USB cable when you bought the iPhone 6. 9to5Mac directs our attention to a new research note from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who says that Apple’s new reversible USB Lightning connector won’t be shipping with the iPhone 6 and it’s not clear whether Apple plans to release the new connector at all. Kuo says that Apple believes the reversible USB connector will offer only “limited improvements to overall user experience” and thus won’t be worth the extra money to ship with the iPhone 6.

We can finally see it now — the light at the end of the tunnel. The seemingly unending flood of leaks and rumors surrounding Apple’s next-generation iPhone 6 handsets will, in fact, soon come to an end. Apple is scheduled to unveil one or both new iPhone models next week during a big press conference on September 9th and then we can finally move on… to iPhone 6s rumors. In the meantime, however, we can expect plenty more leaks between now and next Tuesday, the latest of which examines the aluminum housing said to be from Apple’s upcoming 5.5-inch iPhone phablet.

The iPhone 6 is widely expected to include an NFC chip that will enable mobile payments on the device, a move Apple is finally ready for. In addition to leaks that seem to prove the iPhone 6’s hardware will support wireless payments, fresh reports from Bloomberg and Re/code indicate that Apple has recruited the three major credit card providers to back its iPhone wallet plans.
