Apple’s first wearable computer is set to release next year but it’s actually not the company’s first foray into wrist watches. MacRumors points out that Apple would often create Apple-branded watches that it would give away as promotional items, including the truly hideous one pictured above that would have made Steve Jobs spontaneously combust if anyone had ever dared bring it to him as a potential product.

2014 has been a very bad year for Windows Phone. Google has recently launched the Nexus 6, its best and biggest smartphone to date, but the device is also pretty expensive when purchased for full price, especially compared to previous Nexus models. Google Now offers a lot of amazing features and tricks but this might be one of the coolest we’ve ever seen. Reddit user Professa91 recently asked Google Now to tell him about what he was watching on TV while Jeopardy happened to be on. Not only did Google Now correctly identify that he was watching Jeopardy just by listening to audio of the show but it also was able to hear answers for individual questions and show him relevant information about each one.
