When Stadia launched last year, the only smartphones that supported that cloud gaming service were Google’s Pixel phones. If you didn’t own a Pixel 2, Pixel 3, or Pixel 4, you were out of luck when it came to playing games on mobile — though Stadia is also playable on computers, tablets, and on TVs with Chromecast Ultra. But on Tuesday, Google announced that millions of new phones will be compatible with the service later this week.
