In 2015, Google shook things up a bit when it re-branded itself as Alphabet and implemented a new corporate structure wherein Sundar Pichai was appointed as CEO of Google. Google co-founder Larry Page, meanwhile, was appointed as CEO over Alphabet.
Now comes word that Page will be stepping down as Alphabet CEO, with Pichai poised to take over CEO duties.
