After hosting a big sale last week on a popular wireless borescope inspection camera, Amazon has another sale going this week on a model that’s even better for some uses.
It’s called the Depstech NKJ-66 and it has a similar design with a camera on the end of a semi-rigid tube that can be snaked into just about anything to see inside.
Unlike the model on sale last week that was 11.5 feet long, this model is 33-feet long so it can reach three times further for almost the same price.

We cover Depstech’s wireless borescope cameras all the time when they go on sale because our readers love them so much. In fact, they’re easily among the most popular smartphone accessories we cover here on the BGR Deals team. A deal we covered last week slashed the price of the best-selling model with an 11-foot long camera tube to just $29, but this week there’s a deal on a model that’s much longer for only $3 more. It’s called the Depstech NKJ-66 wireless borescope inspection camera, and it’s down to just $31.99 when you clip the 25% off coupon on Amazon’s product page.

If you’re unfamiliar with how these little gadgets work, you’re in for a treat. A small box at the base of the camera is home to a battery and the board, as well as a radio so the device can connect wirelessly to your iPhone or Android. Then there’s a camera at the end of a long semi-rigid tube, so you can snake it into anything and beam a clear image back to your phone. The app supports recording video and snapping still photos, plus you can use attachments that come with it like a hook for picking up lost jewelry or a mirror so you can see around corners. Apple’s iPhone 12 release is still at least 6 months away, but the phone’s overhauled design and several key features have already leaked.
Most of the information we have so far about Apple’s iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro smartphones comes from a single source, but now one of the key iPhone 12 Pro features he revealed has seemingly been confirmed.
The new feature in question could enable some of the iPhone 12 Pro’s most exciting new features, which are believed to involve next-generation augmented reality capabilities.

When it comes to Apple’s iPhone 12 release, everything is up in the air right now. The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic that tore through China is now devastating several parts of Europe, and the outbreak is just beginning to spread across the United States. Things are going to get far worse before they start to get better, and states across the US are finally beginning to force certain businesses to close and ask people to stay home and remain isolated as much as possible. Needless to say, it’s already far too late to “flatten the curve” and we’re likely weeks or even days away from seeing an explosion in reported cases across the country.

Needless to say, the novel coronavirus’s impact on product launches is the least of our worries right now. That said, it’s still a huge deal and it will have a serious negative impact on all of the biggest consumer electronics companies. A number of big product launches planned for 2020 will likely be delayed. On top of that, people across the country will experience financial hardships from not being able to go to work, so fewer people will be able to purchase new gadgets even if they’re not delayed. Apple’s iPhone 12 series is one of the biggest releases that will take place in 2020, though it’s still unclear exactly when the next-generation iPhone models will hit store shelves. In the meantime, one of the new marquee features headed to the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max was just confirmed thanks to a big iOS 14 leak.

Sony revealed on Twitter the date for the PlayStation 5 announcement that fans have been waiting for.
PS5 lead system architect Mark Cerny will reveal everything there is to know about the new PlayStation on Wednesday, over on Sony’s PlayStation blog.
The news follows Microsoft’s surprise Xbox Series X announcement just yesterday when the company revealed almost all of the Xbox Series X’s secrets.

Sony finally did it! The company announced that it’s ready to tell us everything there is to know about one of the most anticipated products of 2020, the PlayStation 5. However, this won’t be the PS5 launch event we expected back in January, and it’s all because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sony started talking about the PS5 last year when it revealed many details about the next-gen console without being overly specific. It used all the buzzwords fans wanted: 7nm processors, ray-tracing support, 8K gaming, ultra-fast SSD storage, new controller, backward compatibility, and affordability, without providing any specifics. To this day, we still have no specs sheet for the PS5, we don’t know what the console looks like, and we have no official word on how much it’ll cost. Microsoft, meanwhile, unveiled the Xbox Series X design months ago, and then, in mid-February, announced its main specs and features via a blog post.

At CES in early January, Sony teased that its most significant PS5 features haven’t yet been announced, although we may have stumbled upon a few of them here and there thanks to leaks. In other words, Sony did everything right, building up PS5 buzz for the better part of the past year. Then came a huge leak in mid-January that revealed a lot more details about the console’s specs and features, and provided a supposed price and firm release date. Not to mention the fact that it told us Sony would unveil the new gaming rig in early February during a PlayStation Meeting press conference. But then the coronavirus happened, and the outbreak forced Sony to pull out of several events, including the big Mobile World Congress in Spain, as well as a couple of gaming shows that followed it. It’s not that we expected Sony to reveal the PS5 at MWC or other gaming trade shows, but the epidemic has altered Sony’s own plans for the new PlayStation revel.

Universal announced that brand new movies starting with Trolls World Tour will launch in cinemas and on streaming services on the same day.
”Day-and-Date” release will continue through the coronavirus pandemic, allowing users to watch the newest attractions from the comfort of their own home.
Other recently released titles will be included in the offer, which each title to cost $19.99 for a 48-hour streaming period. The service will be available from various on-demand partners in the USA and internationally.

The coronavirus pandemic is very serious if it wasn’t clear by now, and simple measures like social distancing and hands washing can significantly limit the exposure to the new virus. Google’s coronavirus website is still offline, as the company has delayed the launch to later this week.
The website will display updated information about the COVID-19 pandemic from the WHO and CDC.
Screening and testing details will also be available on the website and other Google services once it launches.

Google found out during President Trump’s coronavirus national emergency press conference on Friday that it was supposedly building a coronavirus website that it would assist people with information about COVID-19 testing locations. The Search giant had to explain at the time that it was Verily, a service also owned by Google-parent company Alphabet, that was working on the coronavirus screening service, but the site would not be the kind of nationwide effort that Trump advertised. Google over the weekend announced that it was going to work on the promised site, and Verily on Monday started taking screening registrations in the Bay Area. Since then, Google decided to delay the release of the coronavirus website for further improvements.

LEGO bricks last for centuries if discarded into the ocean, contaminating the environment for generations upon generations of sea life. That’s according to a new study led by researchers at the University of Plymouth and published in the journal Environmental Pollution. The chunky, colorful plastic blocks wash ashore on beaches regularly, and now science tells us how long they can survive in Earth’s oceans.

According to the researchers, and based on the study of LEGO bricks that have already spent years in the ocean before ending up on beaches, the toys could last up to 1,300 years before fully breaking down.
