Elon Musk has now doubled-down on his tweet from a few days ago that declared “the coronavirus panic is dumb,” this time via a Friday memo to workers at his company SpaceX in which he declares that the virus doesn’t even seem to fall within “the top 100 health risks” we should be worried about in the United States right now.
It’s a position, of course, that is contradicted by most experts at the moment who are begging almost everyone to practice new habits such as social distancing and vigorous, constant washing of hands to try to arrest the spread of the virus, which led President Trump to declare a state of emergency in the US on Friday.

“Don’t panic” is the phrase that figures prominently in one of Elon Musk’s favorite books, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. It’s a phrase the embodies hope and arguably represents pretty sound advice in any crisis — though Musk is being criticized yet again for offering an extreme version of that advice in response to the coronavirus outbreak that is slowly ripping apart the status quo of daily life in America. To wit: There’s not panicking, and then there’s an influential figure like Musk sending a memo, as he did to employees of SpaceX Friday morning in which he declares that not only is he not worried at all about the coronavirus — the evidence he’s seen has him convinced that this virus “is *not* within the top 100 health risks in the United States.”

If you yourself have not been told to work from home yet, you probably know someone who has, and no matter what your job is, you likely need access to the internet to do it. In light of this, Vice reports that AT&T will be suspending broadband data caps for all of its customers until further notice.

“Many of our AT&T Internet customers already have unlimited home internet access, and we are waiving internet data overage for the remaining customers,” a company spokesperson told Vice.

Roku has been the number one brand in streaming media players for many years now, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon.
