Leak provides more clues about the mysterious new PS5 feature everyone’s talking about

A report a few days ago revealed that Sony invented a mysterious device that looks a lot like a game cartridge that might fit a handheld console. But Sony isn’t likely to launch a new handheld console of its own alongside the PlayStation 5. Speculation that followed said the logical use for a cartridge like this would be to actually house Sony-made SSDs that could be used to upgrade the PS5’s storage with ease. This sort of clever invention would also help keep the PS5’s entry-level price down, since it wouldn’t need much base storage.

The console will feature several next-gen components, including a custom processor and graphics card, as well as a speedy solid-state drive. Sony is expected to sell the PS5 at or close to cost initially to encourage as many people as possible to upgrade quickly. Since SSDs are still expensive upgrades, especially if you’re going for several terabytes of storage, a modular SSD solution would be a huge boost for Sony. Now, it looks like there’s even more evidence to suggest the mysterious Sony innovation is indeed related to storage.

New deleted scene from ‘Avengers: Endgame’ teases an epic character arc for Cap

%name New deleted scene from ‘Avengers: Endgame’ teases an epic character arc for Cap by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We’ve seen a slew of Avengers: Endgame deleted scenes in the past few days, but the most exciting one is easily the alternate meeting between Hulk and the Ancient One on the rooftop of the New York Sanctum. We’re looking at a significant time travel twist that has massive implications for that controversial Captain America finale. It turns out that Marvel may have worked on an epic arc for Steve Rogers ever since writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely started their collaboration with directors Anthony and Joe Russo — the four of them worked on Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. But that arc was ultimately changed, leading to disagreements between the writers and the directors on exactly what happened to Steve Rogers.

Marvel cleared the waters on all that a bunch of times, and we know Steve created an alternate timeline by showing up for an unexpected dance with Peggy a few years after the war. But in what follows, I’ll explain how amazing Steve’s alternate retirement story could have been — and why that story might not be completely dead just yet.

%name Reminder: You’re crazy if you have Verizon and you don’t get your free year of Disney+ by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Happy anniversary, Disney+! Everyone’s favorite new streaming service is finally here, and it launched exactly one week ago today. Are we going to celebrate the arrival of Disney+ again every single week, month, and year? No, but we thought the service’s one-week anniversary would be the perfect time to remind our readers that there’s a wonderfully easy way to get a full year of Disney+ for free. That’s right… despite the facts that Disney+ is brand new and that it’s the hottest streaming service in America right now, there’s already a way to get the service for a full year without paying a single cent.

As popular as Disney+ already is, and as much fantastic content as it has in its catalog on day one, Disney could probably get away with charging at least as much as Netflix for the service. Right out of the gate on launch day, there were already an astounding 639 different movies and shows available to stream on Disney+. But instead of trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of subscribers, Disney decided to make its new streaming service shockingly affordable. Somehow, Disney+ costs $6.99 each month if you pay monthly, or just $5.83 per month if you pay annually. That price point makes the service a must-have — but even at that price, there’s no reason to pay for it if you can get it for free.

Galaxy S11 might have a boring design, but it’s getting a hot display feature

%name Galaxy S11 might have a boring design, but it’s getting a hot display feature by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Samsung built its mobile success on copying the iPhone in the early years, and whatever Apple does still influences Samsung’s decisions. But if there’s one iPhone trick that Samsung couldn’t replicate successfully so far, that’s recycling last year’s phone design. Apple used to launch a new iPhone design every couple of years, but that trend stopped with the iPhone 6, a design that Apple kept in place for three more years, for the iPhone 6s, 7, and 8 series. The iPhone X design was then used for all 2018 and 2019 devices, and the company is expected to drop a new iPhone design next year. Samsung’s Galaxy S9, meanwhile, was almost a Galaxy S8 replica that sported better specs and camera features. But the phone didn’t sell as well as expected. The Galaxy S10’s hole-punch display turned things around for Samsung. An insider claimed recently that Samsung won’t make any huge changes to the Galaxy S11 next year. However, the phone is still expected to deliver a display feature not available on any other Galaxy model to date.
