Johnson & Johnson baby powder recalled over possible asbestos contamination

%name Johnson & Johnson baby powder recalled over possible asbestos contamination by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Johnson & Johson has initiated a recall of one of its most ubiquitous products because there’s a small chance it might contain asbestos. In a new bulletin, the company reveals that a single lot of its baby powder returned a positive result for “sub-trave levels” of chrysotile asbestos in a recent test by the Food and Drug Administration.

The talc-based powder is extremely popular and the discovery made by the FDA is obviously a bit concerning, but the company insists that the recall is being conducted “out of an abundance of caution.” The recall affects a single lot with Lot #22318RB.

Netflix might finally start limiting password sharing

%name Netflix might finally start limiting password sharing by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

As long as you have a working Netflix login, you should have no problem streaming movies and TV series even if you’re not technically paying for it. Netflix has always been aware of password sharing and has never seemed to mind. In fact, the company has gone as far as to encourage password sharing in the past. But Netflix might crack down on sharing Netflix credentials in the future. There’s no reason to panic for the time being, as Netflix didn’t announce any new measures to prevent account sharing, and the company is looking at “consumer-friendly” ways to address the issue.

Here’s what Google didn’t tell you about the Pixel 4

%name Here’s what Google didn’t tell you about the Pixel 4 by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Google unveiled the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL last Tuesday, finally putting a plug in what seemed like it would be an endless stream of leaks and rumors. A few leaks here and there are great for early adopters who love learning about unreleased devices before anyone else. But there’s a line that can be crossed when things go from exciting to exhausting, and the Pixel 4 series crossed that line about three months ago. We’re not talking about a few minor details here and there followed by a bunch of renders, which is how things work with most phones. We’re talking about full reviews and videos flooding YouTube and giving us up-close and personal looks at the new Pixel phones and most of their features. It was almost like the good old days when BGR was the site doing the leaking, back before we were acquired by a media giant and we could just laugh off all the lawsuits.

Things got so bad for Google that some people actually stopped caring about the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL before they were even made official. When you’ve already seen a new smartphone dozens of times, what’s the big deal about seeing it again? Of course, Google’s press conference ended up reinvigorating most of us because it meant that the phones were on their way to store shelves. And for sites like BGR, it meant we could finally get our hands on the Pixel 4 and check it out for ourselves.
