With Elon Musk often saying that Tesla vehicles are the only cars that get better after they leave the lot, Tesla a few days ago rolled out a software update with a ton of new and intriguing features. Indeed, Tesla in a blog post boasts that Software Version 10.0 represents the biggest software update the company has ever released.

While many of the new features seem to be entertainment-oriented — with new Karaoke and Arcade modes being two prime examples — the software update also includes a Smart Summon feature. As the name implies, Smart Summon enables Tesla owners to summon their vehicles in parking lots. In short, instead of walking to your car, Smart Summon will have your car drive to you.

Apple just released iOS 13.1.2 to fix even more iPhone bugs

%name Apple just released iOS 13.1.2 to fix even more iPhone bugs by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We probably should be surprised anymore at this point since Apple apparently releases new software updates every single day, but the company on Monday released a new update for the iPhone. iOS 13.1.2 comes just one business day after iOS 13.1.1, which was released on Friday. It includes even more bug fixes like minor fixes for the camera app, iCloud backup, and more. None of the bugs that were fixed seem particularly urgent so we’re not sure why Apple had to release iOS 13.1.2 so soon after the last update, but it’s out and it has improvements so you might as well download it.

Netflix confirms ‘Stranger Things 4’ and releases a creepy new teaser trailer

%name Netflix confirms ‘Stranger Things 4’ and releases a creepy new teaser trailer by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

There was little doubt that Netflix would bring back its hit show Stranger Things for at least one more season, but we finally got official confirmation of the show’s return this Monday. As reported by Variety, Stranger Things creators and showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer have signed a multi-year overall deal with Netflix which will see them create films and shows for the service. Simultaneously, Netflix renewed Stranger Things for a fourth season.

The Duffer brothers have said on more than one occasion that Stranger Things was only set up to last about four or five seasons, so even if this is the last go-round for the families of Hawkins and the otherworldly creatures they have to contend with, the Duffers will still be creating content for Netflix for years to come.

%name Leak may reveal a new PlayStation 5 feature that no one saw coming by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

The PlayStation 5 will be released about a year from now, likely in time for the 2020 holiday season. That doesn’t mean the next PlayStation is a complete mystery, though. Aside from the design and launch details, we do know the console will feature powerful internals, both when it comes to processor and graphics, as well as a fast SSD that will dramatically reduce loading times. On top of that, a new leak suggests that Sony might be working on another exciting PS5 feature that no one expected.

Despite the new ‘Spider-Man 3’ deal with Sony, Marvel might still get rid of Spider-Man

%name Despite the new ‘Spider Man 3’ deal with Sony, Marvel might still get rid of Spider Man by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Disney and Sony surprised fans when they announced on Friday, that Spider-Man 3 is once again a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We also learned in the process that the new deal gives Marvel access to Peter Parker for one more movie in addition to Spider-Man 3. I thought that Avengers 5 is the likeliest candidate, considering Spider-Man has only appeared in massive crossover events in the MCU so far, aside from the new Spider-Man trilogy. At the time, I also said that the two MCU films that will include Spider-Man could allow Marvel to give Peter Parker a proper send-off from both the Spider-Man and Avengers franchises. As it turns out, Marvel may indeed be planning to get rid of Spider-Man permanently despite its new deal with Sony.

Galaxy S11 might get a crazy new feature we’ve never seen before in a smartphone

%name Galaxy S11 might get a crazy new feature we’ve never seen before in a smartphone by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

The Galaxy S11 is still about 5 or 6 months away from being announced, but the first rumors are already here and that’s hardly surprising for a Samsung flagship. The phone is expected to feature a better camera system that will incorporate a 108-megapixel camera, and it could support 5x optical zoom. On top of that, we also have a new discovery that suggests Samsung may be developing a new kind of tech for its next generation of flagships handsets. Unsurprisingly, Samsung is working on features that aren’t available from its main competitors, Apple included. The latest one might be a crazy new camera system that can detect the amount of sugar in fruit, whether or not you’re hydrated, and much more.
