This iPhone 11 Night mode photo sample is going to blow your mind

%name This iPhone 11 Night mode photo sample is going to blow your mind by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Well, the early reviews are in and it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that bloggers and tech journalists love Apple’s new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max. Early reviewers rarely say otherwise, of course, but this time around they also have a fairly major upgrade to work with. Early on in the rumor cycle, it appeared as though this year’s big iPhone update was going to be a fairly minor one. Early details from insiders were anything but impressive and leaked renders showed an iPhone 11 series that looked almost exactly like the iPhone XR and iPhone XS models from 2018. As it turns out, all of those renders completely missed the many subtle design changes Apple made to its 2019 iPhone models, which makes total sense when you consider the fact that they were based merely on basic design files that were stolen from the Foxconn factory where Apple’s iPhones are manufactured. Those files contain only the basic dimensions and details so all of the subtle changes that Apple made were nowhere to be found.

While the new design of Apple’s iPhone 11 series smartphones is indeed sleek, the power upgrade and the new features are where the phones really shine. At the top of everyone’s lists will likely be the huge battery life improvements that amount to as much as an additional 5 hours of usage time on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. But there’s plenty more that’s ready to wow us when the new iPhone 11 series hits store shelves on Friday, September 20th, and it appears as though the new cameras on the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro really shine this year.

Apple Watch Series 5 review roundup: There’s (still) no other smartwatch like it

%name Apple Watch Series 5 review roundup: There’s (still) no other smartwatch like it by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

While the latest iPhone already has plenty of competition from the Android camp, there is another Apple product that has absolutely no rival, other than itself. With each Apple Watch iteration, Apple has to outdo itself since no other alternatives come close to what Apple has achieved. The Apple Watch 5, which is already available for preorder, further proves that point. The new device hasn’t received too many updates compared to its predecessor, but the updates that were made are fairly significant. Unsurprisingly, early reviewers agree that the newest Apple Watch is still the best smartwatch out there.

Official documents reveal exactly how much bigger Apple’s iPhone 11 and 11 Pro batteries are

%name Official documents reveal exactly how much bigger Apple’s iPhone 11 and 11 Pro batteries are by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Battery life is easily one of the highlights of Apple’s new iPhone 11 models. Early reviewers confirmed Apple’s claims for all three devices, which is great news for buyers who’ve been asking for better battery life from their iPhones. We’ve already explained that it’s a combination of factor that allowed Apple to increase battery life by one to five hours, depending on models, including more efficient components and bigger battery capacities. At the time, however, we had no idea how big the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max batteries were, but the new iPhones are definitely bulkier than their predecessors. That meant Apple must have made the most of the available internal space to increase battery capacity, even if that meant making the new iPhones slightly thicker than before. Apple, of course, doesn’t actually mention battery size during its iPhone launch events. But thanks to newly discovered regulatory filings for the three devices, we know exactly how big Apple’s new batteries are.

%name NASA’s new launch pad can shoot out 1,000,000 gallons of water a minute by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Whenever there’s a high-profile NASA mission on the horizon you can expect to hear about the various tests leading up to an eventual launch. Firing huge rocket engines is cool, and testing new instruments on a rover is pretty exciting, too, but spewing a bunch of water across a launch pad? Well, It’s a little less glamorous, but still needs to be done.

The mobile launch pad for the upcoming Artemis I mission, called Pad 39B, will be the last piece of solid ground that astronauts will stand on before embarking on a mission to the lunar surface. As such, NASA has to ensure that all of its systems are in perfect working order well in advance of the big day, and a recent water flow test shows that things are shaping up nicely.

The way Netflix recommends shows and movies might surprise you

%name The way Netflix recommends shows and movies might surprise you by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

It’s practically impossible to keep up with the sheer volume of new titles that hit Netflix every single month. From original programming to a revolving door of popular TV shows and movies, Netflix in September alone will introduce nearly 100 new titles for subscribers. And when you add that to an already sizable library of content, figuring out to watch can sometimes be a bit daunting.

Given the absolute avalanche of content Netflix houses, many subscribers simply rely upon the streaming giant’s recommendation algorithm to determine what programs to watch next. And from my personal experience, the algorithm tends to be spot-on more often than it isn’t. Interestingly enough, the recommendation algorithm isn’t entirely based on what Netflix thinks you might enjoy. Every so often, the algorithm will try and present a program that Netflix wants you to give a shot.
