In what remains one of the more baffling marketing strategies employed by any major company, Samsung is once again spamming people who have already spent hundreds of dollars on their products with ads for a new phone. As reported by Android Police, push notifications advertising the just-announced Galaxy Note 10 have been popping up on Galaxy phones ever since the new flagship was unveiled at Unpacked last week.

Based on reports from Galaxy device owners, at least three preinstalled apps have been pushing these notifications: Bixby, Samsung Pay, and Samsung Push Service. Bixby suggests that you ask it about the Note 10, Samsung Pay offers free points for looking at the product page, and Samsung Push Service spams banner ads.

The Galaxy Note 10’s display is somehow even better than the Galaxy S10’s

%name The Galaxy Note 10’s display is somehow even better than the Galaxy S10’s by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Shortly after the Galaxy S10 hit stores a few months ago, we learned that the phone featured the best possible OLED display available at the time. This was hardly a surprise considering that it’s Samsung that manufactures the OLED screens of its flagship phones — Samsung also makes OLED displays for all iPhone X models as well as the newest Pixel phones. But the company isn’t done improving the technology of its smartphones, with the new Galaxy Note 10 delivering an even better screen than the S10.

‘The Boys’ season 2 is already in production – here’s your first look

%name ‘The Boys’ season 2 is already in production – here’s your first look by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Considering the subject matter, it may not come as much of a surprise, but Amazon’s The Boys seems to have found a rather sizable audience, generating headlines for its dark, twisted take on the superhero phenomenon as well as its penchant for extreme violence, full-frontal nudity and a whole lot of swearing.

It was clear that Amazon was confident in the show when it picked up The Boys for a second season days before the first even debuted on the online retailer’s streaming service. That faith in the show paid off, as Amazon said last week that The Boys is already one of its most-watched original TV series of all time. And now it looks like Amazon wants to capitalize on the show’s momentum and get season two out as quickly as possible.

‘Game of Thrones’ actress rants that season 8 was basically garbage

%name ‘Game of Thrones’ actress rants that season 8 was basically garbage by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Natalia Tena binge-watched all of the divisive eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, and, like many of you, there was a lot she didn’t like. It even got to the point that, while she was watching, her boyfriend eventually had to leave because she went on an hour-long rant at him about how turned off she was by what she saw. After her boyfriend left, Natalia then called a friend. To rant at him.

She’s certainly not alone. As we’ve noted, the season 8 finale was the lowest-rated show ever (according to IMDb) to pick up an Emmy nomination for outstanding writing. Natalia’s criticism, however, is a bit different than your run-of-the-mill fan ranting — because she was actually an actress in the darn thing.
