Apple’s exciting new 16-inch MacBook Pro will finally ditch the keyboard design that keeps breaking

%name Apple’s exciting new 16 inch MacBook Pro will finally ditch the keyboard design that keeps breaking by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Ever since Apple discontinued the 17-inch MacBook Pro in 2012, many power users lamented the lack of a big display option in Apple’s notebook line. Not to fear, rumor has it that Apple later this year will introduce a 16-inch MacBook Pro with some serious hardware underneath the hood. Not surprisingly, the machine won’t come cheap, with one report relaying that it may cost upwards of $2,900 at launch.

While there’s no doubt that the forthcoming 16-inch MacBook Pro will boast some serious hardware, there’s no getting around the fact that the butterfly keyboard design on Apple’s MacBook Pro models leave a lot to be desired in regards to reliability and functionality. Indeed, Apple has continuously tweaked its keyboard design over the past few years as part of a broader effort to eliminate usability issues. Nonetheless, Apple earlier this year acknowledged that some users were still encountering issues with their “third-generation butterfly keyboard.”

SpaceX forced to delay ISS resupply mission due to stormy weather

%name SpaceX forced to delay ISS resupply mission due to stormy weather by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

SpaceX has successfully performed many resupply missions for the crew of the International Space Station, sending vital supplies to the orbiting laboratory using its Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon cargo spacecraft. Unfortunately, sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t feel like cooperating, and one of those times was Wednesday evening.

Poised and ready to fly skyward from its Cape Canaveral launch pad, the Falcon 9 never got the chance to do its job thanks to scattered thunderstorms that spread across Central Florida. The threat of lightning pushed SpaceX to scrub the launch less than a minute before its scheduled departure.

Watch a gigantic bison fling a 9-year-old girl through the air after annoying tourists won’t leave it alone

%name Watch a gigantic bison fling a 9 year old girl through the air after annoying tourists won’t leave it alone by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Tourists visiting Yellowstone National Park get to see a lot of wonderful things, not least of which is a variety of wildlife that is, by its very nature, wild. A group of obnoxious tourists found that out the hard way earlier this week when loitering near a bull bison that had no patience for their antics, and a nine-year-old girl paid the price.

As the National Park Service explains, a large group of tourists saw fit to crowd around the large animal near a trail in the vicinity of the popular Old Faithful geyser. The dozens of tourists remained there for “at least 20 minutes” and came within five feet of the animal, which eventually decided it had seen enough.

T-Mobile bails, says it won’t sell the Galaxy Fold

%name T Mobile bails, says it won’t sell the Galaxy Fold by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

There are still some important questions that remain to be answered in the wake of Samsung finally confirming Wednesday night that its first foldable phone will finally launch in September after a disastrous and aborted first attempt back in April. For example, the company hasn’t confirmed yet which “select markets” will get the foldable handset first, since it did say that the launch won’t be across-the-board at the outset. Which makes sense, given that this is a $2,000 device with an unusual form factor that won’t appeal to everyone.

It’s also not yet clear which carriers will actually sell it. We actually do know one carrier that’s taking a pass this time around, though. T-Mobile, which was going to carry the phone in stores and online the first time around, has said it’s not going to bother this time.
