A few days ago, Netflix released the first trailer for the premiere season of its next epic fantasy show, The Witcher. The show will tell stories similar to what we’ve grown to love in HBO’s Game of Thrones, at least before the showrunners ruined the final season. But that’s not the only clip the studio has previews, as fans who attended the company’s presentation at San Diego Comic-Con got to see more detailed scenes from the upcoming series behind closed doors.

Model 3 driver falls asleep with Autopilot on, promptly crashes into 11 construction barrels

%name Model 3 driver falls asleep with Autopilot on, promptly crashes into 11 construction barrels by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

While Tesla’s Autopilot software has improved considerably over the past few years, there’s still plenty of room for improvement. Part of the problem is that Tesla owners seem to have a bad habit of using the feature improperly. While Tesla makes a point of telling drivers that they must keep their eyes on the road when Autopilot is engaged, not every Tesla owner actually follows suit. And as we’ve seen in recent years, this type of behavior can often result in a serious crash, and in some instances, tragic consequences.

The latest instance of Autopilot gone awry is thankfully a bit more on the lighthearted side, which is to say that no one was killed or even injured. The incident in question involves a Model 3 owner who seemingly opted to not pay attention to the road while his Autopilot feature was turned on. Consequently, his Model 3 drove into a construction zone and plowed through a string of 11 construction barrels.

Samsung’s Galaxy Fold finally has a release date, but there’s still more bad news

%name Samsung’s Galaxy Fold finally has a release date, but there’s still more bad news by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

The Galaxy Fold was supposed to be one of the most exciting phones Samsung ever made, placing the Korean maker at the forefront of smartphone innovation. But the first people who got to play with the device needed only a few days to prove the phone had several critical design flaws that pose significant risks to the foldable screen’s integrity. Long story short, it was a piece of junk.

Samsung has finally fixed the main issues by redesigning the display cover and hinge positioning to prevent the screen from dying, as the company announced on Wednesday night. The Galaxy Fold is now set to be released in September ahead of the busy holiday shopping season. As great as that sounds, it looks like we now have some more bad news about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Fold release.

%name Anker’s $20 fast wireless charging pad is down to $11.99 today by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

There are plenty of non-name Chinese brands that sell wireless charging pads for much less than Anker. Most of them are fine, but none of them offer the same kind of quality as Anker. Buying a no-name $10 wireless charging pad instead of a $20 Anker model is fine, but when the Anker 10W Max Wireless Charger drops from $20 to just $11.99, you have no reason to choose the no-name model. Just clip the on-site coupon and use the promo code ANKERB03 at checkout and you’re good to go!

Netflix will release 55 new original shows and movies in August – here’s the complete list

%name Netflix will release 55 new original shows and movies in August – here’s the complete list by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

This month has been positively massive for Netflix’s original content. It has had nothing to do with quantity since Netflix is actually only releasing 44 new original movies and shows in July, which seems like a lot but it’s actually not for Netflix. Instead, it had everything to do with the released of Stranger Things season 3 on July 4th. It was an amazing season that quickly became one of Netflix’s most-watched seasons ever, and it will likely go down as one of the best seasons of any show in 2019. If you haven’t already watched it, the new season of Stranger Things should be catapulted to the top of your list immediately. And if you want to see if there’s anything else of interest that you’ve missed so far in July, you’ll find all of Netflix’s new originals for the month listed right here.

Of course, July is almost over and now our attention is turning to August 2019. There’s absolutely no way Netflix can possibly top July unless it has a secret fourth season of Stranger Things lined up already, but there are still some exciting original series and movies set to premiere over the course of the month.

Apple’s leaked iPhone 11 design finally looks perfect in this new video

%name Apple’s leaked iPhone 11 design finally looks perfect in this new video by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Should it still come as a surprise that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max, and iPhone 11R have been stirring up exponentially more hype than any new Android phones since practically the beginning of 2019? It seems like it should be expected at this point, but we still find it impressive that Apple’s unreleased iPhones manage to garner so much buzz nearly a year ahead of their release. Even now, with the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+’s launch less than two weeks away and the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL looming, social media is still buzzing about Apple’s unreleased iPhone 11. Sure, hardcore Android fans are awaiting Samsung and Google’s new flagship phones with bated breath. But even regular people are chattering about the iPhone 11 and its huge, controversial new square camera bump on the back. Oh, by the way, stop whining about it already, won’t you?

Despite the fact that this year’s iPhone is a new number update as opposed to an “S” update, it’s shaping up to be like the iPhone 7 back in 2016. It’s going to look almost exactly like the iPhone XS from last year and the iPhone X from the year before, marking the third straight year that Apple will use the same iPhone design. On top of that, we haven’t yet heard about any mind-blowing new marquee features. Yes it’ll be faster and it’ll also tout some nifty new camera features — one very cool new camera feature leaked earlier this week — but it’s not shaping up to be the massive update some Apple fans might have been hoping for. And yet despite all that, people simply can’t stop buzzing about the upcoming new iPhone 11 series.
