We’ve seen a slew of leaks out of Samsung in recent days about the Galaxy Watch Active 2 that could be unveiled as early as the company’s Galaxy Note 10 event in New York City, set for just a couple of weeks from now.

The watch that Samsung is said to have codenamed internally as “Renaissance” will, among other things, purportedly include the best features of the Apple Watch Series 4, including fall detection and the electrocardiogram feature — though rumor is the latter won’t be ready just yet at launch. Meanwhile, some of the new watch’s additional features will include support for Bluetooth 5.0 as well as a touchscreen bezel.

Apple customer details how he took Apple to court twice – and won both times

%name Apple customer details how he took Apple to court twice – and won both times by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

One of the great things about purchasing a Mac — or any Apple product, for that matter — is that problems can easily be diagnosed and fixed simply by taking it to a nearby Apple store. Indeed, most every Apple product comes with a limited 1-year warranty that typically covers most instances of damage or malfunction.

Sometimes, though, Apple’s repair process doesn’t exactly operate as designed. And while there are certainly no shortage of stories involving Apple repair specialists providing free repairs for devices outside of the 1-year warranty, there are also stories involving overzealous repair specialists who give consumers a needlessly hard time.

Coming Wednesday: FTC complaint against Facebook over mishandling of user phone numbers

Facebook’s regulatory woes are about to get worse, with the Federal Trade Commission set to unveil a complaint against the social networking giant on Wednesday — the same day the company releases its second-quarter earnings — that’s focused on the company’s sketchy mishandling of user phone numbers.

The complaint would follow the FTC’s vote last week to approve a $5 billion settlement with Facebook, while this new action stems from the ability disclosed earlier this year for Facebook advertisers to target users based on their phone number. Including the phone numbers that were provided by users with only security in mind, as part of signing up for two-factor authentication.

Murder Mystery, The Week Of, The Meyerowitz Stories, The Do-Over, and The Ridiculous 6 are all movies that Adam Sandler made for Netflix in the past few years on top of a stand up special of his own. Sandler isn’t done with Netflix, and that’s hardly surprising, considering that Sandler films are very popular on the streaming service. The actor is working on a new comedy for Netflix that might touch on the horror genre, as the film tackles Halloween.

There may be far more water on the Moon than previously thought

%name There may be far more water on the Moon than previously thought by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

When NASA and other space agencies from around the world eventually send humans back to the Moon in the coming decades they’ll likely be doing so with a goal of eventually establishing scientific settlements in the not-so-distant future. With that in mind, researchers are trying to figure out exactly where those first Moon will get vital supplies like water.

We know the Moon has reserves of water, and it’s thought that it’ll be possible to process the lunar regolith — the top layer of material on the Moon — to gather that water for use by astronauts. However, the more water that’s hiding on the Moon, the better, and a new study suggests there may be a whole bunch of it.

Astronomers now believe our galaxy once swallowed a smaller galaxy

%name Astronomers now believe our galaxy once swallowed a smaller galaxy by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

For astronomers, discovering new worlds, stars, and even entire galaxies is really only half the battle. Once discovered, explaining how new features of space formed, and where they came from, often means extensive research and a bit of guesswork. A new research effort aimed at uncovering some of the secrets of how our home galaxy, the Milky Way, formed, astronomers believe they’ve found evidence of an ancient collision.

A new paper published in Nature Astronomy suggests that the Milky Way slammed into a smaller “dwarf” galaxy long ago, swallowing up a huge amount of mass and using it as fuel to churn out new stars for billions of years afterward.
