Possible real-life Pixel 4 photo leak shows Google’s controversial new design

%name Possible real life Pixel 4 photo leak shows Google’s controversial new design by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Google’s Pixel 4 won’t be the best-selling Android smartphone of 2019. In fact, Samsung might have sold more Galaxy S10 phones during the series’ first month of availability than Google’s Pixel 4 series will sell over its entire lifespan. The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL also won’t be the fastest or most powerful Android phones to be released this year, and it certainly won’t feature the sleekest design. Not even close. And yet despite all that, Google’s upcoming new Pixel phone series is still managing to stir up far more hype than any other unreleased smartphones. As a matter of fact, there’s more buzz surrounding the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL that’ll be released three months from now than there is for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ set to debut in just two weeks.

Maybe it’s the idea of going against the grain, maybe it’s instant access to Android updates, or maybe it’s simply the fact that Google makes them. Whatever the case, hardcore Android fans just can’t get enough of Pixel smartphones. They’re even willing to look past all of the Pixel series’ shortcomings and flaws in order to get their hands on that pure Android experience. That’s going to be particularly important in 2019 because as you’ll see in the supposed real-life Pixel 4 photo that just leaked, Google’s Pixel 4 design is more controversial than ever before.

Insider says Apple’s iPhone 12 will have a revolutionary new OLED display

%name Insider says Apple’s iPhone 12 will have a revolutionary new OLED display by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Gaming Android phones are a thing these days, although they’re already overkill in many ways. They’re maxed-out machines supposed to deliver an even better gaming experience than regular high-end Android handsets. One of their signature features concerns the display, which supports 120GHz refresh rates — Asus’s just-announced ROG Phone II is one example. Apple, meanwhile, hasn’t equipped any of its iPhones with 120Hz screens but has developed the same technology for the latest iPad Pro models, which feature 120Hz Pro Motion screens.

An industry insider now claims that the iPhone 12 phones will also pack a 120Hz display, and it’ll introduce an awesome new feature along with it.

New leak tells us the real reason the Pixel 4 has a huge bezel

%name New leak tells us the real reason the Pixel 4 has a huge bezel by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

When the Pixel 3 launched last fall, we witnessed the ugliest notch design so far. Not only did Google joined a growing list of Android vendors that cloned the iPhone X’s design, but it did a terrible job at it. The Pixel 3 XL featured a colossal notch, compared to everything else out there, as well as significant chin — the Pixel 3, meanwhile, featured symmetrical top and bottom bezels. Google won’t repeat the same design mistake with the Pixel 4, although the phone isn’t what you’d call pretty, not by 2019 standards in any case. The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will not have notches whatsoever, a series of leaks have told us. But a brand new one indicates that the real reason why Google will employ a regular bezel at the top of the phone is a lot more important than visual considerations.

%name The most powerful Android phone of the year is here, but it’s not the Galaxy Note 10 by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We’re only a few weeks away from the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 10 launch, but when Samsung unveils its next Note flagship it’ll hardly be the most powerful Android phone money can buy. The Note 10 is expected to deliver performance similar to what’s available from other notable 2019 Android flagships, including the Galaxy S10 and the OnePlus 7 Pro. However, we do have a phone that’s supposed to be better in every way when it comes to hardware than any other phone out there.

Ancient fossil offers clues as to when mammals learned how to eat

%name Ancient fossil offers clues as to when mammals learned how to eat by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We humans tend to take our ability to chew and swallow for granted, but as mammals we actually have a pretty complicated system of bones and muscles helping us tackle our pizza slices and steaks. Determining when mammals developed their unique style of eating has been a topic of discussion among scientists for some time, and a new fossil discovery is offering some big clues.

The creature, known as Microdocodon gracilis, was an ancient mammal separated from the modern age by 165 million years. Going back that far, you might expect that its style of eating was quite a bit different than our own, but a new study says that’s definitely not the case.

San Diego Comic-Con 2019 is the biggest event of the season, and we’ve seen a ton of news from the show this year. Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation is easily one of the most hotly anticipated panels of the show, and Kevin Feige and Co. delivered exactly what fans expected: precise details about the MCU Phase 4. SDCC also delivered plenty of other events, complete with trailers for upcoming movies and TV series that fans can’t wait to see.

Netflix released the first teaser trailer for The Witcher, which might easily become the next epic Game of Thrones-style obsession. But SDCC also brought us even more trailers for many upcoming TV series, including Watchmen, Star Trek: Picard, and Westworld 3 to name just a few.
