Tesla to boost overall production as Model 3 demand skyrockets

%name Tesla to boost overall production as Model 3 demand skyrockets by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

One of the key metrics investors tend to hone in on when it comes to Tesla involves the company’s ability to manufacture the Model 3 at scale. And with good reason, the Model 3 represents Tesla’s attempt to become more of a mainstream car company, and that simply isn’t realistic if Tesla can’t ramp up supply to meet demand. Sure, the Model S is a fine luxury sedan, but the Model 3 is a car that was designed for the masses.

All that said, it’s certainly no secret that Model 3 production got off to something of a shaky start, with Elon Musk conceding that too much of the assembly line was automated early on.

Behold: This huge leak may be the first real photo of Google’s Pixel 4

%name Behold: This huge leak may be the first real photo of Google’s Pixel 4 by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

All the buzz among Android fans yesterday was focused on the upcoming new Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ since official press renders just leaked. There’s almost no mystery left surrounding Samsung’s upcoming new Note series phones. In fact, the only thing we’re left wondering is just how expensive they’ll be — one rumor suggested that the Plus version of the Note 10 might start as high as $1,200. That’s pretty pricey, especially considering it would only be for the smaller storage tier. The Galaxy Note 10+ looks quite impressive, however, so it might be well worth the cost.

Of course, Samsung’s upcoming new Galaxy Note 10 phones aren’t the only hotly anticipated Android flagships in the works. Huawei is cooking up an incredible new phone as well, though we likely won’t ever see it here in the United States. But there’s one other company with hot new Android flagship phones set to be released in the coming months, and a fresh leak on Thursday morning might be the biggest one yet. We’re of course talking about Google’s upcoming new Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL handsets, and a massive leak may have just shown us the first ever real-life photo of a Pixel 4 smartphone.

Nintendo will quietly upgrade the Switch, but don’t call it a Switch Pro

%name Nintendo will quietly upgrade the Switch, but don’t call it a Switch Pro by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Nintendo on Wednesday unveiled the brand new Switch Lite console, a device meant to deliver only handheld gaming experiences for a lower price. The Switch Lite should pack the same performance as the original console, Nintendo revealed, but what the company didn’t say is that it’s planning to quietly upgrade the regular Switch as well. However, this might not be the meaningful Switch upgrade we kept hearing about this year.

Apple just disabled Walkie Talkie on Watch due to an iPhone eavesdropping vulnerability

%name Apple just disabled Walkie Talkie on Watch due to an iPhone eavesdropping vulnerability by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

The Apple Watch has a neat new app that lets you talk to your friends called Walkie Talkie. It’s not a phone calls app, although the Watch can do that too. Instead, it’s just a simple app that lets you send quick thoughts via voice back and forth. It works a lot like the old push-to-talk (PTT) phones, but it all happens on your wrist. However, you won’t be able to use it for the time being, as Apple has disabled the watchOS 5 functionality because of a new newly discovered vulnerability that would allow others to listen to your iPhone without consent.

Scientists think they’ve found all the ‘missing’ iron in the universe

%name Scientists think they’ve found all the ‘missing’ iron in the universe by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

These days, scientists think they have a pretty good idea of what the universe is made of. By detecting the telltale signatures of various elements in celestial bodies like stars, asteroids, and other planets, scientists can estimate how abundant or rare each of the known elements is. Iron, however, has proven to be tricky to nail down.

We know iron is abundant on Earth as well as in stars, where the intense heat allows it to exist in the form of gas. That suggests that the element should also exist in relative abundance in the interstellar medium — the space between star systems in galaxies such as the Milky Way — but scientists haven’t detected much of it there. So, where is it? A new study published in the Astrophysical Journal might have the answer.
