NASA’s OSIRIS-REx asteroid probe is giving scientists an even better look at the surface of the space rock known as Bennu now that it’s moved even closer to the object. A new photo posted by the partnership between NASA and the University of Arizona gives us what might be our most detailed glimpse yet at the rock.

The spacecraft has been hanging around Bennu for several months now, and will continue to do so for several more. Its new orbit, which its handlers call the Orbital B phase, brings it within a half mile of Bennu’s surface, and this new photo shows us exactly what it sees as it orbits.

When the first Apple Watch launched in 2015, it was inextricably linked to Apple’s iPhone. Much of the Apple Watch’s functionality depended on you also having an iOS device on hand, but over the years, that link began to sever as the company made the wearable more autonomous. The most obvious example of this was the addition of standalone cellular capabilities on Apple Watch Series 3, but another big move may be around the corner.

First noticed by VentureBeat’s Jeremy Horwitz, the latest beta release for watchOS 6 adds the ability to conduct over-the-air software updates from the Settings menu of an Apple Watch. You’ve got to hand it to the folks at the song lyrics database company Genius — it was pretty clever how the company discovered that Google had been displaying song lyrics lifted right from its site in Search results. Genius had already suspected this was happening, but it was only when they planted a hidden Morse code message in song lyrics that they later saw appear within Search that they announced Google had been caught red-handed.

Google, predictably, has responded to the controversy today by claiming that it didn’t steal anything at all — but, just to be sure, it’s going to start labeling where it sources song lyrics from going forward.

Boeing has a serious problem on its hands. After a pair of fatal crashes that claimed hundreds of lives, the company’s 737 Max jetliner has been seriously tarnished. Nobody really wants to fly on the planes, even if Boeing can figure out how to keep them from killing people, and that means the hundreds of planes sitting around in storage right now may have a tough road ahead.

Now, Boeing says it might have a plan for dealing with the complete loss of public trust in the 737 Max line, and it could be as simple as just changing its name. As Bloomberg reports, Boeing CFO Greg Smith noted the possibility of a name change in an interview during the Paris Air Show this week.
