Health food crazes are nothing new in California, but one of the latest is especially ridiculous. Consumers are paying $10 (or more) for a single bottle of something called cold-pressed juice, but there’s no real evidence substantiating the belief that we absorb more nutrients from cold-pressed juice than we do from juice that went through a standard blender.

One of the things many iPhone users criticized Apple for after the iPhone 6 was unveiled last year was the company’s decision to keep 16GB as the base storage option for the handset, especially in light of the increased storage needs of iOS 8. Many believed Apple would switch gears this year, and bump the memory of the entry-level iPhone 6s to 32GB, but that might not happen after all.

Cord cutters, your prayers have been answered. Sort of.
Households no longer need pay TV packages to enjoy movies and TV shows at home, and cord cutting has reached new heights thanks to services like Netflix, which offers tens of thousands of movies and TV shows that are each just a few clicks away. Networks are also finally getting in on the action, as HBO, ESPN and others launch services that stream paid content without the need for a pay TV subscription.
Netflix, HBO Now and WatchESPN are all paid options, though. What if you want to stream content for free? Sure, you can steal content by streaming it illegally, but there are plenty of legal options out there as well. The key, however, is getting them all in one place, and now there’s a community-powered service that looks to do just that.

Optimistic investors have sent BlackBerry shares on a roller coaster ride over the past few years, but reality seems to be setting in. After briefly rocketing up to the $12 range in mid-January, the company’s stock has seen a gradual decline back to under $8, down about 27.5% so far in 2015. Brief runs of optimism are quickly offset by the recurring realization that BlackBerry doesn’t seem any closer to finding its place in the new mobile landscape today than it was a few years ago.
Will an Android phone save the company? No, almost certainly not.

A dolphin caused chaos on a California family’s recent fishing trip, leaping into their boat and breaking a woman’s ankles.
The 350-pound dolphin was a member of a pod that had been swimming alongside the Frickman family’s boat before the freak incident occurred.

A homeless man in Canada found $2,400 on the street, which he decided to turn over to police rather than keep for himself. The inspirational news motivated others to start a crowd-funding campaign for the man, raising more than $5,000 as a reward for his honesty. However, the man decided to refuse that payout as well.

One of the most highly anticipated handsets of the year is the OnePlus 2, a device that’s expected to offer a high-end smartphone experience for a bargain price, just like its predecessor. A number of leaks have likely already revealed plenty of information on the design and specs of the upcoming handset.
