Starting shortly before noon ET on Wednesday, July 1st, Apple began to report outages for several of its major services.
According to the ‘System Status’ page on Apple’s website, iCloud Drive, My Photo Stream, iWork for iCloud, Backup & Restore, iPhoto Journals, iMessage attachments, Mail Drop and iMovie Theater have all been experiencing issues during this period.

The Army spent more than $1 trillion on the F-35 airplane program, a next-gen fighter that should outclass the F-16 in every way. The stealthy new flagship plane will be used by the U.S. Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps, as well as the militaries of more than a dozen U.S. allies in the future, replacing the F-16. But don’t expect it to perform better than the F-16 that the U.S. Air Force first acquired in the late 1970s, even though it should be superior to the F-16 in every conceivable way.

Beyond the new features and enhancements in Apple’s latest mobile software update, the company has detailed numerous bugs, flaws and exploits that have been addressed in iOS 8.4.
The company has also addresses several big security flaws in OS X 10.10.4 Yosemite, which was released for Mac computers on Tuesday as well.

If you’ve ever used Snapchat, you’re already well aware of the frustrating design choices the team made for viewing photos and videos through the app. In order to watch a friend’s Snap or Story, you have to press and hold down on the screen for the duration of the Snaps, which felt awkward and forced you to cover up part of the screen.
Everyone kind of hated it, but we lived it until Wednesday, July 1st, when Snapchat announced that it was replacing press-and-hold with Tap to View.

Google Photos is one of the most interesting new products Google unveiled at its developers conference last month. The app comes with unlimited photo storage and a variety of smart features to help you categorize, share and find pictures quickly. However, one developer discovered a huge problem in the app’s tagging feature, and it’s one Google has already apologized for, but hasn’t yet completely fixed.
