It’s been a long time coming, but we now know what the final tower will look like when it’s built at the site of the old World Trade Center in New York. Wired has an exclusive report about the design of Two World Trade Center, which will be next to One World Trade Center and will be a massive tower in its own right that measures in at 1,340 feet tall. This still isn’t as tall as One World Trade Center, which is a gigantic 1,368 feet from the ground to its roof and 1,792 feet when you account for its spire.

While Apple talked a lot about iOS 9’s security and privacy features during its keynote address on Monday, it also reminded developers that iOS is far better than Google’s Android when it comes to one critical aspect: Device upgradeability. Apple yesterday introduced its long-awaited music streaming service called Apple Music. Built on the back of its $3 billion Beats acquisition, Apple Music seemingly does it all: curated playlists, worldwide radio, and of course, unfettered access to Apple’s library of 37 million songs.

What’s unfortunate, though, is that Apple completely did away with one of the Beats Music app’s best features, its UI.

Walmart recently unveiled its new trial program aimed at taking on Amazon Prime: For $50 a year, you’ll be able to get unlimited three-day shipping for products you order through the giant retailer. This is $49 less than the $99 that Amazon Prime charges users every year for free two-day shipping and other perks, although Rather Be Shopping points out that Amazon’s deal could still deliver stronger value depending on your needs.

Apple’s unveiling of a Flipboard-like news hub during its annual developer conference Monday didn’t come as a surprise to the team behind the now 5-year-old news reader and content curation app.

Not only has Flipboard “known about this product for a while,” CEO Mike McCue told BGR, but his company has in fact had Apple’s attention more or less from day one. BGR has learned about a little known episode from Flipboard’s early days, for example, when Apple cofounder Steve Jobs himself reportedly visit the office of the Palo Alto-based company, where he was shown the product and left impressed by the design and polish.

McCue, naturally, declines to disclose any details about that encounter or about the myriad acquisition rumors that have floated around the company since then. Rumors about potential buyers have ranged from Apple to the more recent news that Flipboard and Twitter have reportedly held talks about the latter acquiring the former.
