Tim Cook earlier this week said that consumers will eventually grow weary of providing their personal information to companies like Google in exchange for free services.
“You might like these so-called free services, but we don’t think they’re worth having your email, your search history and now even your family photos data-mined and sold off for god knows what advertising purpose,” Cook said. “And we think some day, customers will see this for what it is.”

Showtime announced on Wednesday that it will be launching its own standalone Internet TV subscription service in July for $10.99 a month. The service, simply called Showtime, will give subscribers access to its back catalog of movies and original shows as well as live streams of its networks.

Look… there is no question that Apple’s iPhone and iPad lines have heavily influenced Samsung’s smartphones and tablets. Forget the hundreds of millions of dollars in penalties Samsung has been ordered to pay for copying Apple devices, and forget the existence of hard evidence like this 132-page internal Samsung document that served as a manual for copying the iPhone pixel by pixel. Just use your eyes.

As both a native Bostonian and a Fallout fan, I am beyond excited by the new Fallout 4 trailer, which confirms that the game is indeed set in my hometown of Boston. After putting a countdown timer on its site 24 hours ago, Bethesda finally uncloaked Fallout 4 this morning, the long-awaited sequel to its 2008 open-world RPG. The game will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC, skipping the last generation entirely. A release date has not yet been confirmed.
