NASA has spent decades studying many of the planets in our solar system up close. Probes like Juno and Cassini have taught us a lot about the conditions of the planets they are sent to, but oftentimes the moons orbiting these planets are just as interesting as the planets themselves. Europa, one of Jupiter’s moons, is of particular interest to astronomers, and NASA is going to send a new spacecraft to check it out.

The mission, called Europa Clipper, will see a spacecraft sent to Europa and remain in orbit around the moon for several years. The mission will attempt to answer many questions about Europa, but in order for that to happen the spacecraft needs an incredibly powerful antenna.

Anyone who’s excited about the release of Avengers: Endgame, which is now less than a month away, doesn’t have to be reminded that the internet is completely drowning in countless fan theories and suppositions about how the final story is going to unfold — and just how our favorite heroes, the ones still alive anyway, will be able to rally and defeat the movie’s finger-snapping genocidal villain.

We’ve reported on and picked apart many of those theories here, as regular readers of the blog are aware. Meanwhile, there is one theory out there which points to a way of defeating Thanos that’s so ridiculous, so borderline dumb but also so incredibly viral that it’s become the subject of petitions which have garnered thousands of signatures. Josh Brolin, who of course portrays Thanos, used his Instagram account a couple of days ago to poke fun at the theory in a lighthearted way, and the Russo brothers who directed Endgame have done the same.

Military drones have existed for some time now, and while most of the time we imagine drones in wartime as surveillance tools or, in some cases, instruments used in precision strikes against an enemy force, Russia is developing drones that are essentially just guns with wings. If that sounds a bit silly, just wait until you see it in action.

In a new video demonstration, one such drone is shown carrying a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun, firing at airborne targets as it speeds along above the heads of its handlers. The drone which, as Tom’s Guide notes, is being developed by the Russian state-owned weapons manufacturer Almaz-Antey, is capable of some remarkable feats.

While mobile photography has improved by leaps and bounds over the past few years, delivering quality shots in low-light environments has proven to be one of the more challenging frontiers to conquer. Interestingly enough, some of the more impressive gains we’ve seen when it comes to low-light photography hasn’t come from Apple but from the Android side.

Most notably, Google has managed to pull off some incredible low-light improvements solely via software. If you recall, Night Sight mode on Pixel phones uses advanced software to deliver surprisingly crisp and vibrant photos in environments with little surrounding light. And for as impressive as what we’ve seen from Google, the new P30 Pro from Huawei takes low-light photography to an entirely new level.

Less than four weeks from today, Avengers: Endgame will finally hit theaters around the world and bring us what will undoubtedly be an epic conclusion to Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Avengers: Infinity War ended with what may very well be the greatest cliffhanger in any movie from our generation, and people are dying to see how the Avengers will respond after Thanos completed his life’s mission and wiped out half of all life in the known universe with a single snap of his fingers. Will the remaining heroes finally defeat the mad Titan? Will they find a way to travel back in time and resurrect their fallen comrades as well as everyone else who turned to dust when Thanos used the Infinity Gauntlet? Only the actors and production team involved with making Avengers: Endgame know for certain, but a flurry of leaks and spoilers have given us a pretty good idea of what to expect.

We know that there is going to be some serious heartbreak in Avengers 4. In fact, someone who worked on the movie accidentally confirmed that at least one main character will die at some point in the movie. We also recently got confirmation in the second Endgame trailer that many of the remaining heroes will travel to the Quantum Realm, which will likely play a huge role in helping the Avengers triumph over Thanos. How do we know? Because the trailer shows the Avengers marching in new Quantum suits just like the one Hank Pym wore to travel to the Realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Now, thanks to a big leak from one of Marvel Studios’ partners, several other spoilers we’ve seen recently have been proven to be genuine. It should go without saying at this point, but note that some major Avengers: Endgame spoilers follow below, so don’t read any further if you want to avoid them.
