Brilliant ‘Avengers: Endgame’ theory says Iron Man had to die 14 million times to beat Thanos

%name Brilliant ‘Avengers: Endgame’ theory says Iron Man had to die 14 million times to beat Thanos by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

The minds behind Avengers: Infinity War had Doctor Strange tell us exactly how many versions of the future he saw until he found the one where the Avengers emerge victorious. We still have no idea why Strange counted them all, or whether he stopped when he found the first path to victory. Strange is a geek of sorts, so of course he would count. He’s also pretty pragmatic, so he knows the odds are against the Avengers on this one and wants to make a point by telling them how bad things are. But all hope is not lost, and Strange is helping events unfold in the only way where they can win.

We’ve seen a bunch of interesting theories about the time Strange spent on Titan to explore different timelines, including one that suggests he was exploring the aforementioned timelines for more than 5,000 years. We now have an equally brilliant theory that poses something entirely different: Strange only spent minutes looking at those 14,000,605 futures and decided Iron Man had to survive Titan so he could then die 14,000,604 times.

Fireworks and dry foliage are a bad combination, and that’s something that rapper Thouxanbanfauni and his friends found out the hard way in a live stream posted to Instagram this week. The artist, who has a sizable following on YouTube, Instagram, and SoundCloud, was having a bit of fun in front of what appears to be his mother’s apartment complex when things got out of hand in a hurry.

Thouxanbanfauni is filming as his friend playfully threatens him with a firework of some kind when the sparks set several small fires on the dry lawn at their feet. Neither of the men notice the flames until it’s too late, and about a half dozen small blazes eventually grow to swallow up nearly the entire yard.

LG G8 and V50 hands-on: 2 phones, 4 tricks, and too many questions

%name LG G8 and V50 hands on: 2 phones, 4 tricks, and too many questions by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

LG on Sunday took the stage in Barcelona, Spain to unveil the phones that will drive its immediate future. Unlike previous years, we got to see two new devices at the same time, the V50 ThinQ and the G8 ThinQ. Both phones were leaked before the show, and it turns out all of their signature features were either announced before MWC 2019 or featured in rumors. We’re looking at 5G and dual-screen support for the V50, and 3D face and gesture recognition as well as “sound on display” technology in the G8. All of that sounds great on paper, but in real life things aren’t always pretty, or even necessary.

Anonymous survey shows Tesla and SpaceX employees are still confident in Elon Musk

%name Anonymous survey shows Tesla and SpaceX employees are still confident in Elon Musk by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

The Twitter habits of Tesla’s chief executive are apparently coming back under scrutiny, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission asking a judge to hold Tesla CEO Elon Musk in violation of a settlement deal he reached last year that included guidelines for his Twitter usage. In short, company officials are supposed to vet the “material” information Elon releases via Twitter, which is why the SEC has zeroed in on one of his tweets last week — in which Elon said his electric carmaker would manufacture “around” half a million vehicles this year.

He followed that up with another tweet, clarifying that “deliveries” for the year are still estimated to total 400,000, though the SEC still blasted the first tweet in a court filing. “Musk did not seek or receive pre-approval prior to publishing this tweet, which was inaccurate and disseminated to over 24 million people,” the agency wrote.

It’s finally here: New free app lets you use iMessage on Android

%name It’s finally here: New free app lets you use iMessage on Android by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

A friend came to me many years ago and told me he was fed up with his iPhone. This was back in the days before Apple relented and finally released new iPhone models with larger displays, and he was tired of seeing people with nice big smartphone screen while he was squinting at his tiny 4-inch iPhone display. We sat down and spent hours discussing which features were most important to him, and then going over all of the different Android-power options he had that might best accommodate his list of wants. We ended up landing on a sleek HTC flagship phone and he went out the next day to buy one.

When I messages him a few days later to see how things were going with his new Android phone, I noticed something peculiar: my message was still delivered through iMessage. He quickly responded, telling me that he had ditched his new HTC phone and switched back to the iPhone after just three days. When I asked him why, his response was succinct but it truly spoke volumes: “I can’t live life as a green bubble.”
