‘Captain Marvel’ is the first Disney film that won’t hit Netflix – what about ‘Avengers: Endgame’?

%name ‘Captain Marvel’ is the first Disney film that won’t hit Netflix – what about ‘Avengers: Endgame’? by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Captain Marvel premieres on March 8th in theaters around the world, and it’s likely that it’ll bring in massive revenue for Disney. But once its theatrical run ends, you won’t be able to catch it on Netflix. Disney confirmed that the first Marvel movie of the year will not be available on the world’s most popular streaming service. That may seem like a huge shock, but it was always bound to happen because Disney is looking to steer streamers to the upcoming Disney+ streaming service, which will exclusively carry Captain Marvel’s hotly anticipated origin story movie.

Samsung has a brilliant Galaxy Note design idea that would ‘kill’ the notch and punch-hole cameras

%name Samsung has a brilliant Galaxy Note design idea that would ‘kill’ the notch and punch hole cameras by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Ever since the iPhone X made the infamous notch the must-have design feature on 2018 iPhones, it was clear that smartphone makers will do whatever it can to deliver the kind of phone designs we’ve always wanted, Apple included. The notch is a compromise the iPhone maker had to make in its quest to extend the screen from edge to edge because Apple also replaced the fingerprint sensor with a more sophisticated biometrics authentication. Android vendors, meanwhile, failed to adopt Face ID and quickly moved beyond the notch, trying to eliminate it from their designs. We’ve seen phones with slide-out cameras and phones with two screens as a result. And Samsung pioneered the punch-hole screen design, Infinity-O as it calls it, for its next-generation flagship and mid-range phones. But Samsung has figured out a clever way to “kill” the notch and the Infinity-O camera hole in future Galaxy Note designs.

Huge leaks reveal all the design secrets of Samsung’s answer to the iPhone XR

%name Huge leaks reveal all the design secrets of Samsung’s answer to the iPhone XR by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Samsung’s Galaxy S10 will come in three 4G versions that will compete directly against the three iPhones Apple released a few months ago. These are the Galaxy S10e (formerly known as Galaxy S10 Lite), Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+. All devices will have the same hardware, but the cheapest model, which is Samsung’s answer to Apple’s cheaper iPhone XR, will make a few compromises when it comes to design, fingerprint sensor tech, and cameras. We already saw press renders of the Galaxy S10e leak a few days ago, but we’ve got two huge leaks that provide an even better look at the phone’s remaining secrets.

Breakfast might not be that important after all, study says

%name Breakfast might not be that important after all, study says by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We’ve long been told that breakfast is “the most important meal of the day.” It’s said that eating a meal in the morning can give your metabolism a bit of a boost and possibly prevent overeating later in the day. This may be beneficial if you’re hoping to maintain or lose weight, or so breakfast proponents would have us believe.

As it turns out, a regular breakfast might not be all that great for people trying to slim down. A new research paper published in the British Medical Journal reviewed over a dozen different studies on breakfast habits in order to paint a more detailed picture of how early meals affect weight, and the data doesn’t look particularly good for breakfast lovers.

%name This Chrome extension auto skips Netflix credits and adds useful shortcuts by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We’ve covered half a dozen or so great Netflix extensions for your browser in the past, but if you’re still in the market for one that perfectly suits your needs, you might want to check out Netflix Extended. Although it shares more than a few similarities with the extensions we’ve already covered, it has a few unique features of its own that might just put it over the top. And, as always, it’s free, so there’s no harm in trying it to see how you like it.

Brought to our attention by The Next Web, Netflix Extended brings a relatively varied and extensive feature set to the table, including perhaps the most common feature for a Netflix browser extension: Skipping intros and recaps. Getting to the content faster without having to manually intervene is a necessity for any Netflix plugin.
