Google on Tuesday announced that its Material Theme redesign for Gmail — which arrived on the web last April — has begun to roll out for the mobile app as well. In addition to looking slicker and cleaner than it used to, the Gmail app has gained a few new features to improve the experience of checking emails on your phone.

The first new feature will be a welcome one for web users (or those of you migrating from Inbox, which will shut down soon): The ability to view attachments from the main screen without actually opening the email thread and scrolling to the bottom. It doesn’t work exactly the same as it did on Inbox, but it’s still an improvement.

There are countless hurdles preventing mankind from openly exploring the Solar System with manned missions. The challenges that are often talked about the most relate to limitations of existing spaceflight technology, but it may ultimately be the human body that delays our first-person exploration of space.

Researchers have long believed that sending manned missions beyond the Moon could pose serious risks for the health of the astronauts that are brave enough to take the trip, and a new study suggests that NASA and other space agencies have a good reason to fear the worst. The research, which was published in the Journal of Applied Physiology, reveals that extended stays in space can dramatically affect an individual’s immune system while also sharply increasing their risk of cancer.

One of the best ways to navigate a new city without a car is to use the public transit data from Google Maps. Just input your destination and Google Maps will offer you the fastest way to get there via public transportation. But Google Maps doesn’t make it easy to find public transit stops near points of interest, which can be annoying, especially when you’re visiting a new city for leisure. Yes, Google will tell you what bus or train to take, where to change, and all that information, but if you want to see the stops near you, you’ll still have to zoom in on the screen and explore the map yourself. Or, better said, you had to zoom in and pan around, because Google Maps is about to get a new feature that plenty of people have been waiting for.

Kids say the darndest things, and a young boy who was lost for three days in a heavily wooded area of North Carolina is spinning a yarn that is leaving investigators baffled. Casey Hathaway was reportedly playing with other children in his grandmother’s backyard when he wandered into a nearby woods and disappeared from view.

Nobody could find the young boy, and authorities and volunteers scoured the woods for three days before he was eventually found alive. Having endured chilly temperatures and heavy rain, the boy was still in good health, but he says he didn’t make it through the ordeal alone.

I’m way behind on my quest to watch Agents of SHIELD the proper way, which is intertwined with Marvel movies. And I’m probably not going to get up to date with what happens in the TV series that focuses on several SHIELD agents under Agent Coulson’s lead. But I did watch the first-look clip that Marvel released for the sixth season of the series, which will premiere at some point this summer after Avengers: Endgame hits theaters. The only reason I watched it was to see if there were any Endgame spoilers that might’ve accidentally slipped in, and it turns out my efforts might have paid off.
