And all bad things must come to an end even sooner. 2020 marks the end of the road for a ton of high-profile series on TV and streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and more. In fact, there are so many shows that are already confirmed to be ending this year that we decided to round them all up so you can see the full list in one place. As of the time of this writing, dozens of shows have been canceled following a final season set to air in 2020. Some are popular shows that are still successful but have come to a natural end, like The Good Place and Bojack Horseman. Others just couldn’t gather enough steam to continue, like Netflix’s Spinning Out and Sweetbitter on Starz. And a few series coming to an end this year are long-running shows that simply don’t have anywhere else to go, like The CW’s Supernatural and CBS’s Criminal Minds, both of which will be sunsetted after their fifteenth seasons in 2020. • Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos made a surprise visit to an Amazon fulfillment center in recent days, as well as a Whole Foods store, which is the upscale grocery chain Amazon also owns.
• In the video below, he can be seen wearing a face mask, getting his temperature checked, and practicing social distancing.
• Bezos’ visit comes as Amazon workers have demanded better working conditions and benefits as the coronavirus crisis drags on.

In the wake of employee protests and some workers even staging walkouts to demand better working conditions and pay as the coronavirus pandemic drags on, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos donned a disposable face mask and made a surprise visit to an Amazon fulfillment center as well as an Amazon-owned Whole Food store.

Amazon shared video of the episode via Twitter late Wednesday, during which Bezos can be seen striding up to a warehouse worker to get his temperature checked before proceeding through the rest of the facility. It’s an almost dystopian sight as he interacts with employees from beyond his mask — and from at least six feet away, per social distancing guidelines — and waves, shouts out greetings, and brandishes a thumbs-up.

• Saturday Night Live is returning to the air this weekend with a new show, following the suspension of production on shows back in mid-March — when the worst of the coronavirus crisis was just starting to hit the US.
• In accordance with the stay-at-home order in New York, which as a state has more coronavirus cases right now than any other country in the world, Saturday’s new SNL show will be produced by crew and cast members working remotely.

After suspending production last month as the coronavirus crisis exploded into a full-blown catastrophe across the US, Saturday Night Live is ramping back up again and preparing to air a new show this weekend.

Of course, the “live” part of the name will take on a new meaning, since the show will be put together remotely, as the cast and crew remain quarantined at home in New York — which now has more coronavirus cases than any other country in the world. • The next total solar eclipse for those in the United States will come four years from now, in early April 2024.
• Unlike the Great American Solar Eclipse of 2017, the 2024 eclipse will come in spring, making viewing difficult for many northern states where cloud cover is likely.

It feels like a lifetime ago, but the total solar eclipse that captivated the United States happened just a few years ago on August 21st, 2017. It was an event that captured the imaginations of many across the country, prompting skywatchers to make trips to areas where they could best see the eclipse, and turning eclipse glasses into a hot commodity.

Eclipses happen on Earth with regularity, but since we can only be in one place at a time, we’re not likely to see many in our lifetimes. The total solar eclipse of 2017 was certainly spectacular, but North American doesn’t actually have to wait that long before it’ll be treated to yet another one. The next total solar eclipse to grace the continent will occur four years from now, on April 8th, 2024.
