Amidst a seeming avalanche of new content that can at times feel overwhelming, Making a Murderer unquestionably remains one of the most riveting and addicting series to ever air on Netflix. The true-crime documentary debuted in late 2015 and quickly became a runaway hit for the streaming giant.

The series essentially focuses on the trial and ultimate conviction of Steven Avery for the rape and murder of Teresa Halbach. What makes the documentary so compelling is that the murder investigation and Avery’s subsequent trial was riddled with a number of questionable actions from the likes of lawyers, police, and other investigators who helped put Avery behind bars. Now, about three years since the series debuted, one of the policemen who was cast in a particularly unflattering light is suing Netflix and the show’s producers for defamation.

First official ‘Men in Black: International’ trailer introduces the new agents

%name First official ‘Men in Black: International’ trailer introduces the new agents by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Because virtually every other intellectual property has already been rebooted (many more than once), Sony has had to dig even deeper to find a franchise worth reviving this time around. But as cynical as reboots make us, at least this one has some genuinely exciting talent attached. On Thursday, Sony Pictures shared the first trailer for Men in Black: International, which brings Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson into the fold.

Directed by F. Gary Gray (The Italian Job, The Fate of the Furious), the spin-off takes us out of New York and drops us in London, where Agent H (Hemsworth) and Agent M (Thompson) are tasked with solving a murder mystery and subsequently saving the world. Because that’s what the Men in Black do.

We can finally explain the bizarre light streak that appeared in the sky above Northern California

%name We can finally explain the bizarre light streak that appeared in the sky above Northern California by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Several of this week’s planned rocket launches ended up being hit with last-second aborts and delays, but that didn’t stop Mother Nature from giving California residents a reason to stare skyward anyway. Late Wednesday night some truly bizarre streaks appeared in the sky over the Bay Area, prompting countless witnesses to tweet their own sightings while asking just what the heck it was.

According to scientists from various observatories, the strange question mark shaped trail that appeared in the sky was actually the leftovers of a meteor that came tumbling down to Earth. Oftentimes when a meteor burns through Earth’s atmosphere it produces a bright flash and little else, but in this particular case a wispy cloud was produced in its wake.

ISS astronauts returned to Earth in the Soyuz vehicle that sprang an air leak in space

%name ISS astronauts returned to Earth in the Soyuz vehicle that sprang an air leak in space by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

It was a number of months ago that astronauts aboard the International Space Station were forced to deal with a rather unusual problem. The space station’s sensors alerted them to the presence of an air leak in the Soyuz ship that brought crew to the station and remained attached. A leak is obviously a very serious thing when we’re talking about a spacecraft, and the hole that was found has led to a months-long investigation into who created it, when, and why.

News about the leak had died down a bit until just recently, but the big question at the back of everyone’s mind was whether the leak would pose any kind of threat during the return trip. NASA and Russisa’s space group Roscosmos believed there was no risk, and today the ship finally made its way back to Earth with three crew members on board.
