We’re two episodes into the new season of Game of Thrones, and we’ve already seen more than half-a-dozen people meet the gods of Westeros. Death is one of the recurring characters in the popular HBO series, and it often takes away some of our favorite heroes. It did so with Jon Snow, albeit temporarily, which was a major upset for fans. By now you’ve heard that he returned from the dead even if you don’t watch the show, so we haven’t really spoiled anything at this point. Hey, remember Windows Phone? You probably don’t and for a long time it seems like Microsoft hasn’t remembered it either. Behind the scenes, however, it looks like Microsoft has been working on new features for its mobile operating system and at least one of them is really cool. Per The Verge, Microsoft recently took the wraps off a new feature that it describes as “pre-touch sensing for mobile interaction.” Essentially, this feature can detect when your fingers are near the devices display and will automatically put up menu options for you to use.

Jon Snow isn’t the only Jon that HBO fans are excited to see return to television this year. Speaking with CNN’s Brian Stelter in a Paley Media Council interview this week, HBO CEO Brian Plepler was asked about the chances that Jon Stewart would make his way on to the network before the election in November.

“Yeah, I’m hopeful,” Plepler responded.

A week ago, EA revealed that it would announce the next entry in the Battlefield franchise on Friday, May 6th. Battlefield fans — the day has arrived, and to celebrate, the developers have been hosting a live stream for much of the day, playing through some of the previous games and hyping up the future of the series.

But at 4 p.m. ET, the 2016 sequel will finally be unveiled.

In case you haven’t noticed, T-Mobile will go to great lengths to troll its rivals, particularly AT&T. That said, we never expected that T-Mobile CEO John Legere would ever go this far just to take a shot at a rival carrier.

Per ESPN, Legere this week paid $21,800 for the rights to pick out a temporary tattoo that will be placed on track star Nick Symmonds’s right shoulder. This being Legere, he immediately started musing about whether to give the tattoo an anti-AT&T message.
