The first trailer for the new Ghostbusters movie was not well received, and it wasn’t just because a bunch of nerdy 30-something man-children couldn’t stand the thought of women playing their childhood heroes. No, the trailer was poorly received because it just looked bad. So bad, in fact, that it’s become the most disliked video in the history of YouTube, with a whopping 684,000 “thumbs down” votes as of this writing.
The Guardian brings us word that Melissa McCarthy, one of the movie’s stars, recently explained why she thought the trailer didn’t work, although she insists the real movie is better than what we’ve seen so far.

Google on Tuesday confirmed what a couple of recent reports revealed: it’s taking its self-driving cars project to the next level. Google isn’t manufacturing brand new vehicles on its own. Instead, the company partnered with Fiat Chrysler, which committed to making 100 2017 Pacifica minivans equipped with self-driving technology.

Windows 10 has been a welcome hit for Microsoft, especially after the massive debacle that was Windows 8. Despite this, it’s an open question of whether Microsoft is set up over the long haul to do well as a platform provider. This might not come as much of a surprise, but the average Netflix subscriber doesn’t have much faith in the future of traditional television. In a recent survey, AllFlicks polled over 3,000 Netflix users, asking whether or not they thought Netflix could one day replace pay TV altogether.
Over 75% said they did.

Great news for Uber passengers — a new report from NPR is claiming that the company is working to end the practice of surge pricing.
