Apple started selling its iPhone 6s lineup on Friday in 36 additional countries around the world, with six more supposed to get the new smartphones on Saturday. But the company also started selling unlocked iPhone 6s models in the U.S., which should be great news for customers who don’t want to be tied down to one particular network.

Jony Ive might not have any interest in seeing the Aaron Sorkin penned Steve Jobs biopic, but it’s a safe bet that the upcoming film will attract a lot of interest once it opens up to a widespread release later this month. In an effort to keep the hype train going, Universal Pictures yesterday put out yet another tantalizing clip from the film
Starring Seth Rogan as Woz, the clip below features Woz flat-out questioning just what in the world Steve Jobs does. Taking umbrage with Jobs’ condescension, Rogan goes off on Jobs and calls into question the skills, if any, he brings to the table. Not missing a beat, Jobs calmly fires back: “I play the orchestra. And you’re a good musician. You sit right there, you’re the best in your row.”

Say what you will about Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the man is not one to pull any punches. During a recent interview with the German business newspaper Handelsblatt, Musk addressed the ongoing hiring battle the company is seemingly engaged in with Apple. Amidst reports pointing to Apple releasing its own electric car, you might recall that Apple over the past few months has poached a number of Tesla engineers. What’s more, you might remember a report claiming that Apple was luring over Tesla engineers with signing bonuses in the $250,000 range along with a 60% bump up in salary.
While this might be par for the course in Silicon Valley, it’s not really a problem that Tesla has historically had to deal with in any serious way. If anything, Tesla is typically the company luring over talented engineers and executives, not the other way around.
All that said, is the outspoken Tesla CEO worried about a brain drain?
Not in the slightest.

Pluto is still as inhospitable for human life as Mars is, but the distant planet we’ve just begun exploring better than ever before might look a lot better than we thought. Imagery captured by the New Horizon’s shuttles reveals not only that Pluto has a blue sky like Earth’s but that there’s also frozen water on the surface.

Now that Google has changed its official name to Alphabet, it’s decided to buy the entire alphabet domain name — yes, that means it’s bought abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz.com. DomainInvesting, which first flagged Google’s purchase, says that this particular domain was created in 1999 and had been privately owned before Google decided to buy it. Going to the domain right now shows that it’s a blank page, which means Google hasn’t officially done anything with it yet.
