After setting up a special help page that provides information about the massive XcodeGhost malware hack on its website, Apple has listed the top 25 iOS apps built using the counterfeit version of Xcode that was capable of injecting malware in apps before they were submitted to the App Store.

The device pictured in the image you see above might look a bit primitive, but it’s actually a prototype built to showcase technology that may very well be the future of touchscreens. Researchers from Technische Universität Berlin in Berlin, Germany built the device, which offers a brilliant solution for touchscreens by giving them real physical buttons that appear temporarily when you need them, and then vanish when you don’t.

One would think that analysts and pundits, after so many years of predicting a decline in iPhone sales, might someday come to their senses and stop betting against Apple. Every year, we’re bombarded with predictions and dire warnings that iPhone sales have topped out, that Apple’s spigot of innovation has becoming increasingly less potent and interesting. Google will announce the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P (image above) next week during a special September 29th media event, but there’s not much to be excited for other than actual prices and launch dates for the two devices. The Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are far from mystery devices, and a freshly leaked image shows one of them in what’s probably the best kind of pre-release photos you can expect: press renders.

More and more people upgrade to Apple’s latest iOS release, with Apple claiming iOS 9 is adopted at a faster rate than iOS 8. But that doesn’t mean iOS 9 is a flawless update, as the iPhone maker has already released a first iOS 9.0.1 patch to fix some issues.
On top of that, even iOS 9’s primary focus is improving performance, it appears the new software isn’t necessarily going to make your old iOS device feel any faster than iOS 8.

In case you haven’t heard, one of the most realistic video games of all time debuted recently for the Xbox One and Playstation 4. “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” is a third-person shooter that lets you roam around army bases in Afghanistan and shoot the bad guys.
However, its open-ended gameplay, unscripted sequences, and factors like sound and changing weather create a sense of actually being on the battlefront. It’s a technical achievement that has earned rave reviews. As I found by playing the game myself, there’s nothing quite like it.

Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush — or just “Jeb!” as he’s called in his campaign signs — probably won’t win the endorsement of the Electronic Frontier Foundation given his positions on tech policy. The iPhone 6s Plus has been getting rave early reviews and many critics have said that it delivers a lot more new features than what we typically expect from an “S” upgrade. The new iPhone’s camera has been earning praise as well, as Apple has upgraded its camera lenses from an 8-megapixel sensor to a 12-megapixel sensor. However, many early reviews say the new iPhone 6s Plus’s camera is about more than just improved megapixel count and it seems to have delivered noticeable improvements in other areas as well.
