Sony this past year partnered up with a Japanese robotics company called ZMP to establish a new drone company called Aerosense. While the joint partnership understandably raised a few eyebrows at first, Sony believes that it can leverage its expertise in camera and communications technologies to make an impact in the burgeoning drone market.
On Monday, Sony released video footage of a drone prototype borne out of its relationship with ZMP. Suffice it to say, this isn’t your everyday $150 Quadcopter. And trust us when we say that that’s a good thing.

If you thought companies like Samsung and Xiaomi were shameless with their iPhone ripoffs, wait until you see what HTC has been cooking up behind closed doors. Nothing has been confirmed just yet, but newly leaked photos appear to HTC’s new flagship smartphone for the second half of 2015… and by the looks of things, it’s basically an iPhone 6 that runs Android.

Earlier this week, we pointed to a preview of Motorola’s 2015 smartphone cameras that claimed the new devices have cameras worthy of being in the same conversation as the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the LG G4. Now we’ve stumbled upon an older but more thorough look at the Moto X Style’s camera that was posted by Digital Photography Review late last month. In a few weeks, Apple will announce the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The brand new iPhones will be available for preorder on September 11th, according to recent leaks, with in-store sales set to begin on September 18th. This launch date has now been further supported by a China Telecom representative, who made several comments about the new iPhones on social media.

Though maligned for its customer support and billing practices, the one thing Comcast decidedly does well is offer fast Internet service. In recent nationwide testing, SpeedTest.net found that Comcast is the fastest nationwide ISP in the country. And now comes word that the company’s fast Internet is about to get a whole lot faster.
During a recent interview with FierceCable, Comcast VP of network architecture Robert Howald said that Comcast has plans to offer gigabit Internet service to all of its customers by 2018.
