One of the best things about the Apple Watch, I found during testing, is the fact it lacks a browser application. Apple seems to think you don’t need to load websites on the tiny screen of the Watch, and it might be right. Not only would it be annoying for the eyes, but typing web addresses would also be inconvenient, particularly because there’s no keyboard app either on the device. That, however, doesn’t mean clever developers haven’t been working on a browser app for the Watch.

Microsoft this year will launch its biggest Surface devices yet, offering users access to TV-sized Windows gadgets, a new report reveals. Obviously, these aren’t your regular Surface-branded tablet/laptop combo. Instead, we’re looking at the Surface Hub Windows-based TV-like gadgets the company demoed at previous press events.

It’s always great when a someone ports an ancient OS onto a modern piece of technology just to prove they can do it. YouTube user Corbin Davenport this week showed off something that’s one of the oddest pairings of this kind ever: The Macintosh System 6 platform on an Android Wear smartwatch.

When Elon Musk said demand for Tesla’s new home batteries was “crazy off the hook,” it seems he wasn’t exaggerating. Bloomberg has crunched some numbers and has estimated that Tesla has already taken $800 million worth of Tesla Powerwall and Tesla Powerpack batteries. Breaking things down a little further, Bloomberg says that Tesla has likely received just under $179 million worth of Powerwall reservations and $625 million worth of Powerpack reservations. Tesla has already said that it’s received 38,000 total reservations for Powerwall and 2,500 reservations for Powerpack, so figuring out how much revenue they generated is a matter of simple arithmetic.
