Stunning new video shows off Apple’s leaked iPhone 11 design

%name Stunning new video shows off Apple’s leaked iPhone 11 design by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

There’s no such thing as a surprise anymore in the smartphone industry. There are simply too many hands in the pie and too much hype surrounding big smartphone launches. As a result, there’s no way that all the people involved with building flagship smartphones can keep things secret. It’s just not going to happen.

Leaks also tend to follow the same pattern time and time again. When it comes to Apple and its upcoming new iPhone models, the first details always come from plugged-in Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kui, who now works for TF International Securities. He has multiple contacts deep in Apple’s supply chain, and the information he gets from them is almost always accurate. Then, a few months later, schematics for the unreleased iPhone models are stolen off of Foxconn’s servers in China. Third-party accessory makers use these files to build protective cases that are ready in time for release, and graphic designers use them to mock up accurate renders of upcoming iPhone models. That’s the phase we’re in right now, and a recently released video gets up close and personal with Apple’s new overhauled iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max design.

It looks like Apple is getting ready to release an all-screen MacBook Pro with a 16-inch OLED

%name It looks like Apple is getting ready to release an all screen MacBook Pro with a 16 inch OLED by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

After bringing OLED screens to the iPhone line, Apple has been rumored to do the same thing with select MacBook Pro and iPad Pro models in the future. A few reports earlier this year said that Apple is developing a 16-inch MacBook Pro design that might be introduced in a couple of years. An insider accurate with his previous Apple prediction also said at the time that Apple was working on new iPad models as well, hardly a surprising revelation considering that Apple launches new tablets every year. A new report from Korea now says that Samsung has been in talks with Apple about supplying OLED screens for both these products.

Trump accidentally explains exactly how stupid the Huawei ban is

%name Trump accidentally explains exactly how stupid the Huawei ban is by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Anyone following Trump’s trade war with China can’t say the import ban on Huawei came as a huge surprise. We’ve seen this happen before with ZTE, which was hit with a similar order preventing it from purchasing hardware and software products from US companies, and now it’s Huawei’s turn to go through the same moves. American and international tech companies, including big names like Google, Microsoft, Intel, and ARM, are among Huawei’s business partners who have temporarily cut ties with the Chinese conglomerate. The ban doesn’t only hurt Huawei, as it also impacts the bottom line of the companies who were forced to pause their dealings with Huawei, pending a new decision from the US government. It’s unclear how long the entire thing will last, but Trump just gave a bizarre statement on the matter.

The largest underwater eruption ever detected produced a brand new underwater volcano

%name The largest underwater eruption ever detected produced a brand new underwater volcano by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Months ago, a bizarre hum rippled through the waters far off the coast of Africa, traveling around the world and drawing the attention of scientists who managed to capture it using seismic sensors. Its origins were a mystery, but the discovery of a new undersea volcano near the French island of Mayotte may finally provide the answer.

As LiveScience reports, researchers from France recently discovered the brand new feature of the ocean floor near Mayotte, and it’s absolutely massive. The volcano, which now stretches some 800 meters off the seafloor, didn’t even exist six months prior, and reports from island residents paint a clear picture of when it was created.

At a time when engineers have been perfecting robots that can perform skills like walking, gymnastics stunts, and warehouse-related box-sorting, researchers from Italy’s Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia just upped the ante in a major way. Meet the HyQReal, a robot dog that was able to successfully pull a 3-ton Piaggio P180 Avanti passenger airplane almost 33 feet at Italy’s Genova Airport, according to the researchers.

%name NASA’s Kepler just spotted 18 new Earth sized planets, but only one is worth dreaming about by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope may be dead, but that doesn’t mean that the wealth of data it gathered doesn’t still hold some untold surprises. A new research paper from scientists at the Max Planck Institute, Georg August University, and the Sonneberg Observatory is a great reminder of that, and it reveals the existence of 18 (!) completely new exoplanets that were previously unknown to astronomers.

The discovery was made after a careful analysis of Kepler data using a new method of approach that is more sensitive and could, its creators believe, uncover dozens or even over a hundred totally new worlds orbiting distant stars.

Tesla may set a quarterly record for deliveries, according to leaked Elon Musk email

%name Tesla may set a quarterly record for deliveries, according to leaked Elon Musk email by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

It’s sometimes hard to make sense of what’s going on with Tesla. Is the company on the verge of going bankrupt, or poised to set new records for deliveries? Well, according to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the answer to both questions could be “yes.”

A few days ago, an internal email from Musk to Tesla employees claimed that the company was in danger of running out of cash in just 10 months time. As a result, Musk said that the company was going to implement “hardcore” cost-cutting measures, an initiative Musk claims is the only way for the company “to become financially sustainable and succeed in our goal of helping make the world environmentally sustainable.”

Huawei needs Google’s Android and Microsoft’s Windows 10 like fish need water

%name Huawei needs Google’s Android and Microsoft’s Windows 10 like fish need water by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

The import ban the Trump administration imposed on Huawei a few days ago was the next logical step in the trade war against China. While some people may have foreseen it, given the ZTE practice run from before, it still sent shockwaves through the industry. Huawei is prepared to fight, even as numerous business partners from the US and other countries confirm they’re putting their business dealings with the Chinese giant on hold.

One of the things Huawei confirmed earlier this week is that it’ll move forward with an operating system of its own, which we’ll call Huawei OS for lack of a better alternative, and which could launch as early as fall. That operating system is based on Android, and it’s supposed to run both on smartphones and tablets. But, make no mistake, Huawei needs Google’s version of Android and Microsoft’s Windows 10, no matter what.
