We are another step closer to the future of wireless technology today, as Verizon has officially launched Samsung’s Galaxy S10 5G smartphone. Although the Moto Z3 and its 5G Moto Mod technically beat Samsung to the punch, the Galaxy S10 5G is the first phone on sale in America with 5G capabilities built in.

The phone is on sale starting today at Verizon stores and online at verizonwireless.com, but 5G service is currently only available in Chicago and Minneapolis. Verizon has confirmed 20 additional cities that will get 5G Ultra Wideband service in 2019 as well, including Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Phoenix, San Diego, and Washington DC, with even more set to be unveiled later this year. 30 cities should have 5G before 2020.

In terms of design and overall quality, Peloton stationary bikes are great… but they’re not really any better than rival workout bikes in the same price range. The reason Peloton is so popular right now has precious little to do with the bike itself, and far more to do with the screen attached to it. With just one episode to go in its eighth and final season, many Game of Thrones fans at this point are so dissatisfied with the direction this season has taken — with the gripes mostly focused on the writing that’s now moved beyond the scope of George R.R. Martin’s source material — that more than a quarter of a million of those fans have taken a pretty dramatic step.

As of the early morning hours on Thursday, those fans had helped a Change.org petition begging HBO to remake Game of Thrones’ final season with new writers surpass its goal of 300,000 signatures.

Remember the Steam Link app that let you play Steam games on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV? Apple yanked it from the App Store about a year ago, citing “business conflicts.” The app allowed you to purchase games directly from Steam, bypassing Apple’s App Store altogether.
