3 plot choices that almost ruined ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Avengers: Endgame needed less than three weeks in theaters to make $2.5 billion in ticket sales, and with each day that goes by, Marvel’s newest movie is getting closer and closer to overtaking Avatar as the highest-grossing film in box office history. At three hours long, there’s so much happening in Endgame that you’ll have a hard time noticing all the tiny details and the clever Easter eggs — like Howard the Duck coming to Earth to fight Thanos. But the more you watch it, the more you notice a few particular plot choices that somewhat ruin the magic. Yes, Avengers 4 is the best Marvel movie ever made, but it’s not perfect.

The latest Android flagship launch event of the spring has arrived, as OnePlus is set to unveil its 2019 lineup at live events in NYC and London on Tuesday morning. As with virtually every flagship device released in the last few years, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro — both of which we expect to see today — have been thoroughly spoiled by leaks in the weeks and months leading up to the official reveal from the company.

In fact, just this morning a few low-quality videos showcasing the OnePlus 7 leaked online, confirming virtually every leak we’ve seen over the past several weeks. But despite the fact that there won’t be much left to actually announce, OnePlus has established a presence in the market and will look to attract even more customers today.

Fresh leak shows an exciting new design for Google’s upcoming Pixel 4 XL

%name Fresh leak shows an exciting new design for Google’s upcoming Pixel 4 XL by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Google just announced two new Pixel phones at I/O 2019. The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL both leaked extensively ahead of their unveiling last week, so nothing Google showed off during its keynote presentation came as a surprise. Of course, that doesn’t make the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL any less appealing. These new smartphones essentially usher in the return of Google’s Nexus program, which sought to give consumers a more affordable way to get their hands on a pure Android experience. Nexus phones were never huge sellers, but they were sorely missed when the program ended back in 2016 with the release of Google’s first Pixel phone.

As welcome as affordable pure Android phones may be, the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL aren’t the new Pixel phones that fans are most excited to see in 2019. No, that honor goes to the upcoming Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL that are expected to be released later this year in October. Details are still a bit scarce since the launch is so far away, but now a new leak seems to firm up the notion that the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will have the most exciting designs we’ve ever seen on any Google smartphones.

Facebook shared a security advisory on Monday, May 13th warning WhatsApp users that an “advanced cyber actor” has been spreading spyware through the app by taking advantage of a buffer overflow vulnerability. All that it took to install the spyware on a target’s phone was calling them through the WhatsApp mobile app.

According to the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre, WhatsApp has announced that a small number of users have been affected and that everyone who uses the app should update it from their respective app stores as soon as they can. There’s a chance that your app already updated itself automatically, but check to be sure.

Sonos is finally making good on its promise to support the Google Assistant, which is coming to the company’s Sonos One speaker and Sonos Beam soundbar to start via a free software update that’s available beginning today in the US.

Sonos had already touted its forthcoming integration with Google’s assistive technology in the shareholder letter the company released last week, noting that it marks the first time that consumers can buy a single smart speaker and choose which voice assistant they want to use. Support for the Google Assistant will come to the UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, France, and The Netherlands next in July, with the company promising that more countries will follow on a rolling basis over the coming months.
