Reviews of Samsung’s much-hyped foldable phone have started to trickle out, with many of them — like this one from The Verge — seeming to grade the forthcoming Galaxy Fold on something of a curve. One of the highlights they note is that it’s an overall solid effort for a device that will finally launch on April 26 for an eye-popping $1,980, and that there’s not much of a learning curve or general awkwardness associated with the device — despite the fact that this is a smartphone with a foldable screen.

Originally introduced more than three years ago, the iPhone SE offered users who prefer a more compact form factor an attractive alternative to Apple’s larger-screened devices. Unfortunately, though, Apple discontinued the iPhone SE last year, subsequently leaving fans of the device without much of an alternative.

Sure, Apple’s iPhone XR and XS models offer an incredible value proposition, but the simply reality is that Apple’s entry-level iPhone XR is closer in size to an iPhone 6 Plus than to an iPhone 6. In effect, Apple has abandoned a large contingent of iPhone users who want to take advantage of Apple’s newer more advanced technologies without having to commit to a device that may be too unwieldy for them.

It’s been a very interesting month thus far for SpaceIL, the Israeli organization which sent the Beresheet lunar lander into space and subsequently crashed it into the Moon. Needless to say, things didn’t go exactly as planned, and while the mission was a huge success in a number of ways the company would love another crack at landing a spacecraft on the Moon in a much more gentle fashion.

It seems they’re going to do just that. In an announcement that came very shortly after the crash-landing of the Beresheet lander, SpaceIL founder Morris Kahn announced that the group would be focusing on Beresheet 2.0.

As was undoubtedly the case at countless offices (virtual or otherwise) around the world on Monday morning, the first thing my colleagues and I did when we got into work was talk about the Game of Thrones season 8 premiere. While all of us were glad to have the show back in our lives, some of us were less impressed with the first episode than others. So rather than keep all our thoughts to ourselves, we’ve decided to share them with you.

If you didn’t watch Winterfell — the first episode of season 8 — be warned that spoilers will follow. This is not going to be a detailed breakdown of the episode, but we’re not going to shy away from discussing details when necessary.
