While it didn’t pack the huge visual overhaul iOS 7 had, Apple’s recent iOS 8 update was easily the biggest update to the iOS platform in years. The new software, which was initially released in September, included tons of new features and thousands of new APIs for developers. Among them was third-party keyboard support, which iPhone and iPad users had been clamoring for.
