We’re constantly surprised by the incredible worlds that game developers are able to create, but we’re never satisfied with the visuals for very long. Where Half-Life 2 once shocked a generation of gamers, it can’t even begin to stand up to many of the independent games being released in 2015.
Even the latest AAA releases aren’t leaps and bounds over what we saw at the end of the PS3 and Xbox 360 life cycles, but Unreal Engine 4 has the potential to change everything.
